Comprehensive Review of GEC-Rajkot

This is the one of the problem in the college like they don't teach you anything new besides the university syllabus. Although things such as coding and programing is teached in the college but the quality is very low compared to the current market situation. Students have to prepare themself for the job although the placements will be provided by the college if you have the skills

There are two internships students have to complete in the whole course. First is summer internship of minimum 15 days after the ending of the 6th semester. Second is the 6 months internship in the 8th semester. You have to complete projects according to your domain such as web development,app development etc. The name of the companies are Coderbyte,Tark Technology,eSparkBiz etc.

The on campus placement is provided by the college. The IT companies paying from 4LPA to 8LPA visit in the college. The campus placements starts in the 6th semester. The company visited are TATVSOFT,GATEWAY GROUP OF COMPANY,TARK TECHNOLOGY etc. The percentage of students getting placed are around 80%.

Total fees of college for the both semester in a year is around 4000-5000 including your college fees,misc fees,term fees,exam fees etc. There are also scholorships provided such as digital gujarat, mysy etc. The hostel fees for whole year is around 2250rs.

All the festivals are celebrated in the college campus. There is a very big lilbrary in the campus where you can find all kinds of books. There is provided wifi in the college campus. There is a sports week every year in the college. There are clubs for students such as GDSC(Google Developer Student Club). You can also participant in the Hackathons.

The addmission process is done via the acpc. The student should be 12th pass out and cleared Gujcet exam. There is selection on the basis of jee as well. These all process is done by the ACPC. According to ACPC merit the addmission process takes place in the college.

The faculty in the college is highly graduated and having a very good experience in the all sections. The teachers have cracked exams such as GPSC. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:60. All the staff is very supportive and kind towards the students.
