- The life at symbiosis skills and professional University is very diverse and since there are a lot of courses being offered, this allows you to network and build interactions.
- Retail management and Digital marketing are one of the best courses offered, there are options for engineering, architecture, nutrition and more as well. Personally being a retail management student I got to learn a lot practically in college.
- The campus is huge and you have multiple facilities available, from hostel, sports, gym, clinic, etc options inside the campus. Frequent events and fests keep the students interactive and entertained
Dislikes
- Need to bring in more placement opportunities for students in various fields
- The area around campus needs to develop a little more for the betterment of surroundings
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are very practical and skill based. The primary motive is to make ready professionals for the corporate world with on field understanding, job training, internships and placements. The exams held are practical and objective knowledge based and best fit for students. Need to improve on the timings of exam
Internships Opportunities
Everyone has to complete 2 internships for 2 months after every year ends. There are multiple companies who come in for internships as well and provide stipend for an average of 20k. This is mostly to gain on job experience and understand the theoretical knowledge
Placement Experience
The college offers placement opportunities to every student and there are multiple big companies who come in for hiring. You are eligible for placement if you have cleared all your examinations and the placement usually starts after 5th semester is completed
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is moderate and not really that expensive compared to what is being offered from college. The hostel charges can be revised and made better compared to facilities being offered. There are scholarships available and installments payment for fees
Campus Life
The campus is huge and multiple facilities and amenities offered. From sports, library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc. There are annual fests held related to curriculum and non curriculum. So this allows students to mingle and participate and gain experiences
Admission
To get admission, one must have 80%+ in boards exams and have good subjective knowledge and general knowledge too. Once you fill the entrance form, you can sit for the entrance exam and proceed with personal interview round with professor
Faculty
The faculty for retail management is absolutely amazing. The professors and experts in their field with work experience and practical knowledge. In depth understanding of courses offered by them and very friendly environment to be in. I have heard good reviews for professors in other courses as well
Interview Experience
Usually there are no GD held, but there will be a personal interview round. Just need to brush up some quick topics related to business and retail and have some general knowledge or current affairs ready so that you can clear the interview
