  • The college administration is strict when it comes to permissions.
  • The college administration doesn't listen to complaints by the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was confused whether to choose physics chemistry or maths as major. I decided to go with this course for the very same reason that it provides you with physics, chemistry and maths at the same time while leaving a good amount of time for you extra curricular activities or competitive preparations.

Internships Opportunities :

There are not a lot of internship opportunities available with the college. Students mostly get internships through some websites or apps. So if someone plans to do internships, they will have to search for it themselves instead of being dependent on college internship cell

Placement Experience :

There are a few courses that see placement opportunities. Though anyone in the final year can sit for placement process regardless of their course. Only a few out of a batch get placed and that too from a few courses. Students mostly prefer preparing for competitive exams after pursuing this degree and a few opt for masters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is somewhere on a higher side if compared to other colleges of delhi university. However there are several scholarships for students that helps them to pursue their desired course. The fee hike is a big concern as we have witnessed a increase in fee for the same course for our junior batch.

Campus Life :

The campus life was the best part for me about the college. The experience with the societies and the people you meet through these societies is something that can't be described in words but can be experienced only. The annual fest of the college Mecca is one of the best among the delhi university colleges.

Admission :

Our batch was the last batch to get admission through a cut off list. The application process was quite simple. PCM were the necessary subjects to be eligible for this course. There are reserved seats as well. The admission process is quite smooth and i think it's all perfect.

Faculty :

The faculty here is good, well qualified and very supportive. Be it the teaching or non teaching staff. Teacher in charge of the department helps you with all the matters. The faculty advisors of the societies are supportive as well.

Placement Experience:

From last semester, students are eligible for placements. They have to pass through at least 2-3 exams including written examinations and interviews and must have good skills and strengths that made them different from others to achieve good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though i just choose the course just to study mathematics as i was interested . And then the curriculum was designed in a way which includes like practicals and theory lessons both amd practical application with computer language is there which helps in real world market. And also one can easily contact any teacher and ask their doubts. I would not suggest any teaching method as they are best teachers already but the thing is they must realise that every student is not same so they must give some special attention towards those type of students in class and use the time to fullest. The exams were like most easily8of DU acc to like studies of du.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are easy just get the pyq solved and you will score very good . Though I chosed the course as I see something interesting in this field and wanted to continue in this field itself after graduation. This course opens many opportunities for me afterwards. Improvement I needed most that many students are preparing for competitive exams also alongwith the course they opt but the college hours are much more ?.30 to 5.00 pm isnt it too long and 20 min lunch break it's no enough There is need for grace of time for well preparation and time should be shifted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well prepared but there was an issue of time management. Proper tests couldn't be held before exams due to the syllabus being too bulky to finish on time. The classes could have been a little more interactive if the syllabus was reduced a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't know this course at the time of admission. My parents influenced me to choose this course and no matter how much pressure the Life Sciences students have to go through, this is a great course. With Zoology, Botany and Chemistry as its main domains, it offers a diversity of knowledge that may seem cumbersome over a short period, but actually, it is very beneficial for someone like me who is not interested in pursuing honours in a specific subject. Yes, the file work requires a lot of effort. The diagrams, the theory learning, attending all classes, assignments, reports, etc. It is challenging, so one must keep all these points in mind while opting for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose to pursue was B.Sc in Life Science. I chose to pursue my Bachelor's in Life Science because it was a Program course. The benefit of pursuing a program course over an honours courese is that it gives you more options and opportunities to explore after your graduation is done. You get a chance to find your true calling. My core subjects were Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Besides that we have to select an extra subject (AECC or SEC) of our choice. My initial AECC were EVS and English in the 1st and 2nd semester respectively. My SEC subjects were Biofertilisers (3rd sem), Sericulture (4th sem), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (5th sem), and Intellectual Property Rights (6th sem). The course design was highly comprehensive. The syllabus was designed inclusively to have all the necessary units which it takes to build a life science graduate who is well versed with a little bit of everything.

Placement Experience:

Placement at my college is good but the employers tend to take students from some specific courses only . Placements for mathematics honours students are not too good . Only about 10 - 15 students are able to grab placement that too not a good package. You become eligible to take placement after your 5th semester exams .

Placement Experience:

Placements are for final year students Big companies like Delloite, KPMG, PWC etc. hire graduates from the campus. There were companies like MedalHunt offering recruitment in the field of sports too. The highest package was offered by Josh Talks i.e., 12 lacs p.a. Furthermore, E.Y. GDS selected students for an internship. I am planning to prepare for government exams after graduation.

Placement Experience:

We have a campus placement cell that handles all the companies coming in for placements and internships. It is active throughout and we have internships coming in all year round. In third year we become eligible for placements. CPC verfies our resume or CV in various steps and then they are sent to companies we are interested in. We have interviews then if we are selected we are informed. The placement ratio and the packages are good. I'm going for masters at IITD through IIT JAM.
