Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Bcom course because it gives you basics knowledge about accounting, taxation, auditing, marketing. And the timings of exams are 6 months gap and the course difficulty level are moderate . I don't think about any improvements needed.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Bcom is not very expensive course it's depends on colleges and swami vivekananda scholarship are available and it's eligibility is 60 % Marks in previous class and the complete course cost about 20000

Campus Life

In my college website celebrate Saraswati Puja, teachers day, and other festivals . In college library we find almost every book that we need . Start of every year we have a sports and other activities as well.

Admission

Bcom eligibility is 12th pass . We will find application form on respective college website If you are from SC St cast then you will get admission very easily. Exams are taken in gap of every 6 months

Faculty

In college facultys are very qualified and their teaching skills are excellent and the way they approached us is very good. Faculties are very supportive and humble in nature. They given us a freedom to ask anything about the studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.

My mysterious college life

I got selected for other colleges too for this course . But I took admission in this college over any other colleges because of the faulty that I have heard from my brother . Another reason is the location. Yes it's the another reason as it's really easy to find out this college . And our college is just 1 min away from the metro station gate no 3. And any bus is available from that place . The college rating is also good . I got rejected from 1 particular college but I've no regret for that .
