Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well ... I ain't sure what to tell about the curriculum. It was quite easy jn first year. In second year I was just barely able to pass majority of my papers . I am currently at my third year starting. I heard from my seniors that he classes are gonna get more tougher in 3rd year . The teachers used quite a simple yet effective ways to teach us . Even gave us breaks during classes if they thought we were not in mood for like after continuos classes too.

Internships Opportunities

3

I have heard that for commerce and economics dept they have internship opportunities made Available for them in their third year . But for my course I have to find internships on my own , my college hasn't taken any initiative towards that for b.sc mathematics till now ig.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college the fees is very low as it's a aided college .it's run my the church diocese in that area . But the teachers are govt paid . So the fees for students is very low . When I got admission for my course I had to remit about. 5000/- I think. As a yearly payment of 2100 or so . excluding the exam charges for each sem . The university exam fees was quite affordable too , it is always below 1000/- total.

Campus Life

2

The campus life sucks as hell , not much events happens . And if happens then low budget trash events too. The library is good though, has all the books need for reference for studies and has other informative books too. There are various clubs too in my college but don't know how many or which all are there .

Admission

There wasn't an extended exam to begin with my college. About 50% of the seats are managed by the college and the rest by the University allotment. I got admission through the management quota by OBC Latin catholic category merit.

Faculty

4

The teachers / professor's used to teach us very well , they were quite approachable when needed . Especially my class tutor Raju sir who used to teach us computer. They even supported us in co curricular activities like ncc , nss and sports . But limited it for like to focus more on studies . But they were quite harsh when telling remarks on our studies to parents during pta meetings too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

Our syllabus and curriculum was easy to moderate in the first year. And in the final year it changes to moderate to difficult. More of the questions are direct questions and some questions related to organic chemistry is in application level.

? I chose chemistry because of the versatility of thge subject. ? There are differet branches of chemistry I can get into. ? We are given a good lab and research opportunities for encountering them in the outside world. ? The exams are well timed, and they are easy to tackle if we are prepared well.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
