Remarks

This institution is near to my house. This institution is kinda strict and also is a Christian institute. Teachers are well aware of the students. They take the responsibility to make their students study and they give their 100% skill into teaching

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I opted is BA English Tutor in conversational English Model-2. I always wanted to study English literature so I'm really happy that I opted this course. The teachers who teach us are really hardworking and help their students build their calibre.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1650 per year

Internships Opportunities

I haven't opted for any internships but our seniors who have taken commerce batch used to get job right after the degree.

Placement Experience

No company has visited in our college because our college doesn't have any courses like that. Our college provide us with course like BA English, BA Economics, Bsc Maths, Bsc Physics, B.com Taxation and B.com Marketing. As pg programs we have Bio- technology and MSc. Physics

College Events

Our campus life is very good. Our college conduct many usefull events such as seminars for every department students. Students participate in different varieties of events in our college. Our arts day consist of 3 days. We have many programs and we enjoy alot.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has E-grand and scholarships for the poor children especially for SC/ST students. Those who apply for E-grants they have to submit some papers to qualify and if they are qualified for E-grands the government will give a good amount of money for those students.

Campus Life

Our college has pretty good infrastructure. Our college is surrounded with many trees and plants. Our college is well aware of importance of planting trees. Our College walls have painting of the the importance of not to use drugs so it gives us a clear idea of it. Our college doesn't allow to use mobile phones so we doesn't know about the wifi connection. We have a pretty large library and are provided with knowledgeable books. We love to spend in our library. We get very informative books to reffer our subjects. Saying about the labs we have two Computer labs, Physics lab and a bio- technology lab. Our college has the best Bio-technology course in Kerala.

Hostel Facilities

Our college doesn't have an hostel facilities. But we have a centre called Alpha centre. That is for priests and nuns. So if any students from far away places our institution provides hostel facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
