Likes

Good sports team and college supports the different sport teams
good placement will be awarded for those who get good grades.

Dislikes

It's is kinda strict. And always focuses on studies.
Some of the teachers are strict and are not friendly.
They doesn't support much sports related activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course artificial intelligence is kinda tough and is hard to study for someone who's not good in coding. But the faculties are a great help and clears all our doubts and teaches us well. The management is also supporting.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for me is 35000 per annum. This is the fees for sports quota students. I joined here in sports quota and I'm paying this fees. The normal fess varies according to the mark of the students.

Campus Life

Campus Life is actually not much enjoyable. The campus is actually small when compared with other colleges in the state. But the infrastructure is good. Clubs and all gives the students a good experience.

Admission

The eligibility is that the student must attend KEAM entrance exam and should score good rank in it. Students with good rank will get good scholarship and can even study without paying fees. Reservations are also available for students.

Faculty

The facilities and professors are well experienced and are qualified. most of them are friendly and are understanding. And helps us in studies and other activities. Most of the facilities are young and energetic.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
