VIT Bhopal University- Pros and Cons

The course curriculum is really good. It is up to date and not like regular old school subjects. The curriculum is set as per the new Market size. Student is provided with a certain number of courses per semester and they have the ability to add or drop other courses as per their need and flexibility. The frequency of the examination is adequate.

Placements depends on every year. The average package is 15 LPA. Some of the companies that visit the college are Delloite, Tcs, Accenture, Microsoft, Amazon and many others. The off campus placement is also very nice.

Tuition fees is high. Though every faculty and everything is nice. The fees are high. The complete cost of education may vary up to 15 lacs to 25lacs including the hostel and mess charges for 4 years of time. The college provides financial aid or scholarships and state topper MP state students are given free education and free staying and food.

Campus life is okay. Don't expect to have a lavish campus life. The campus is under Construction. You will get to see many Constructions on-going. The library is good and well availability of digital library. The sports infrastructure is not good. There are various student-run clubs, groups. Technical clubs such as Linux club, ieee club, vitronix club, android club, photography club etc are there. Non-technical clubs are also there including regional clubs such as Marathi Club, Bengali Club, Odia Club, Rajasthan Club and Many others.

Hostel facilities are okay. But there are frequent WiFi cuts and electricity cuts. There are various types of room bunk beds flat bed and various room sharing. The meal provided is okay and variety is there. There is hostel counselling every year which happens on basis of cgpa. Affordability is okay rather a bit high.

The eligibility is to appear for the VITEEE examination. Secure a good rank in the examination. Boards keep an overall minimum percentage of 65% and PCM it is 65%. The difficulty level of registration is moderate depending on the dates of the examination. If you come under the reservation category you are eligible to have some financial benefits. In terms of areas of improvement in the admission process, prepare well with the JEE MAINS syllabus. It is adequate.

Faculties are highly qualified and doctorates. The teaching quality is really good here. Teaching time is more not regular 40_50mins. It's about 1 and ½hours each lecture. Student-teacher interaction is good. The faculty's credentials and their approach of teaching are also good. They provide good ppts which is really helpful in completing and understanding the subject. Also, the books recommended are also nice and very knowledgeable.
