Likes

Cultural and sports day should be improved . More fests should be conducted.
My campus life is pretty good.Everyone are socially active and it is really fun to interact with everyone.
Faculties are qualified. There will be mentors for every student provided by the college.The placement facilities are the best feature of this college.They provide good placements and placement training for students.

Dislikes

Cultural and sports day can be improved .There are only 1 day each for sports day and cultural day.
More technical fests and program should be arranged..

Course Curriculum Overview

Placements is the main factor which influenced me to choose this course. We will get only 4-4.5 months for each semesters . There will be 100 mark exam, duration: 3hrs.The exams are not too tough, we can pass the exam easily.

Only few bright students get intership refered by the college. Mostly other students find internships by their own.cognizant,TCS are some of the companies which provide internship.The college will helps us to build projects.They will provide us mentors .

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no such increase in the tuition fees.There are scholarships provided by the college for brilliant students. If the students acquire good cgp, they will be given reduction the fees.Many of my friends have got reduction in their fees

Campus Life

There will be only one tech fest conducted yearly in our college.It will have a duration of 2-3 days.The library of the college is pretty decent.There are lots of books and students can use computers in the library.

Admission

You should pass the 12th grade. You can join this course both by government quota and management quota.For getting admission through government quota, there will be entrance exam KEAM . For the management quota and sports quota we can directly communicate with the college.

Faculty

Faculties are really qualified and many of them are really friendly. They will explain things properly.They helps us to be more creative.we can approach teachers at any time.They will be always there to help us.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
