Course Curriculum Overview :

The subject of psychology is emerging. The syllabus covers almost all the important fields related to application of psychology. The curriculum is good and broad. It will help you to develop a good hold on the subject.

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible campus placement from the third semester. The ratio of placements is very less. Less than 25 percent of students get placed every year. The university makes very less efforts towards placement. Opt for some specialise courses/degree if you want placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee is very less. The university is a public university and funded by the central government hence the chances of fee hike or increase is very less expect and may happen once in a decade. The yearly course fee is 4000+1000. The additional 1000 is for swayam exam. And hostel fee can cost you from 6000 year to 20000 depending on the hostel you are being allotted. The mess charges are separately billed.

Campus Life :

University celebrate Foundation Day on Basant Panchami which is the best and biggest celebration in the campus. The university conduct various youth fest at the different faculty levels and then the Spandan is the youth fest where students who are selected from various facilities take part. There are various clubs in the university which aim to conduct various events.

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities in the hostel are good and the meal quality is average. The hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi and LAN. One has to apply for hostel during the admission process. The old hostels are cheaper and the fee isaround 6000 rupees per year but for the new hostels the fees goes up to rupees 20000 per year.

Admission :

Anyone having bachelor's of science in psychology is eligible for admission in the course. The few seats are open to people who have a degree in medical, engineering or Science. The admission is based on CUET PG score. The CUET PG exam is conducted once yearly.

Faculty :

The availability of faculties is sufficient in numbers but specialized teachers for some courses are not available. The communication of teachers is good. They are highly qualified in their fields. Teachers are easily available for help and other discussions also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The campus provide hands on experience in this course. The curriculum is updated according to the new trends in the field of forensic science. They provide hands on experience on case studies, projects, laboratory experiments and whole crime scene investigation exposure from the 1st step reaching to crime scene till getting it the evidence collected packed and sent to the particular department for their examination. Here we have learnt about FIR (First Information Report) proper sealing of evidence and labelling them. They have prepared us for real world crime investigation. But i think their is still some improvement is needed in curriculum as the course provides us all the detailed learning about the laboratory related and investigation related things but with upcoming trends i think we should also learn the crime related to digital platforms like cyber crime, frauds, scams, Phishing which are new crime trends in our society so that we can get more job opportunities in forensic field

Course Curriculum Overview:

Till class 12 I don't want to study chemistry but in the university my whole perpective is changed because of my professor as they make the lessons quite easy. They not only focus upon the current part of lessons but also starts from the starting i.e they focus upon the improvement of basics. Every thing is nice but timings are not good as it takes complete day.

Firstly, I like zoology as a subject as it really gives us knowledge regarding every single life forms . The curriculum lead me to find ways to deal with organisms. Animal behaviour is a subject which needed some more improvements. Exams were continuous and leads to pressure on a difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

Actually from the 2nd semester, students can apply for placements. Almost 50-70% of students were placed in this course. The highest and lowest package of salary is offered and it depends on the performance of students. The highest salary is something 20, 000 per month on the other hand the lowest salary is 35, 000 per month. And average salary offer in course is 20, 000 per month approx. There are many companies like TCS, HTC, Wipro, Flipkart and Amazon are in our course. almost 50-70% can get internships from my college. My plan after MSC is to teach in a higher college at a high level. I am also applying for a good job.
