I applied in the Central University of South Bihar for the same course and got selected there too. The reason for choosing Banaras Hindu University over Central University of South Bihar was that CUSB was comparatively newer than BHU. BHU has a well established name in the field of law. Its location is also very spiritual and the people are very nice over here. The lush green and vast campus of BHU gives it edge of CUSB. Plus the faculty of BHU is definitely better than CUSB. The admission process is very simple. If you have cleared the cutoff then you have to pay the course fees. There are many other agricultural universities in India including iari that are considered the aiims of agriculture but the fact that BHU offers other activities also like sports and music, dance, athelete and many more things that help to develop your overall persona rather than just relying on grades and scores. Definitely iari is good but the course of bachelors is comparatively new there being 3 years old it started back in 2022 only, i would say iari is good for masters and PhD but for bachelors there is not a single competition of bhu in India. You've to give CUET as the entrance exam for bhu agriculture if you're an Indian and you've 55% score in your 12th with subject combination pcb,pcm or abc then you're eligible. Cutoff is definitely high for bhu as it is the top ranked university in India so you've to work accordingly. After exam results are out the admission process is so smooth....Read More

The eligibility criteria for my course bsc (botany hons) is to have pcb in your 12th and then to give CUET exam, after clearing the exam you will get allotted into the different biology courses according to your cuet marks. The cutoff for bsc is higher than arts. Then you have to verify physically in the college for admission process before that you have to register for the course online and the registration fees is 500/- I have also applied in Delhi University but i didn't chose because of cost living. As living in Delhi is so much expensive as compared to here also the campus life is more exciting here and the facilities provided here is more. The admission process is based on your cuet marks and trust me the 10th/12th or equivalent degree doesn't really matters. The minimum criteria is obviously more than 50% but the whole focus is on cuet marks. The cut offs are different for different courses it might go high like(270-180/300)as in my course or might get too low because of the difficulty level obviously (200-150/300) or maybe based on the seats left . But if you crack it you will obviously get a chance to be in the most reputed college....Read More
