Course Curriculum Overview

5

I belong to 2021 batch, which is just post COVID batch, so they setup the curriculum in an appropriate manner. There is no lag w.r.t. other AIIMS. I can't find any improvements for them, because some departments do perform different methods of teaching in a unique manner. They are evolving batch wise. Exams are after every semester, two internal assessments, then PreProfesssional, then Professional Examination, final exams of the year.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship happens in college itself for 12 months compulsory with stipend of Rs. 26,500/month. In terms of patients in flow, and admitted patients, internship load is decent. Since it is new college but amples number of patients are there to learn.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee- Rs. 5,856 for whole course including academics, hostel, water and electricity and excluding mess Rs. 1,500 refundable amount Mess- Rs. 4,300/month Central Govt Scholarship are available for reserved section including ST and SC. Stipend for Interns- Rs. 26,500/month

Campus Life

3.5

Name of Fest - HALLUCIA (Annual socio-cultural fest), held around month of September - November HALLUCIA 2023 held in October Library (Learning Resource Center, LRC) is sufficient for study. But it is in developing phase. Projectors, digitals boards are available in classrooms. AC classrooms are there with comfortable benches. Sports facilities are good, gym is available and all grounds are constructed and constructing at present. In terms of extracurricular activities, this college is also excelling.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities: 1. Table, chair, bed, mattress, cupboard provided in room 2. Double sharing room in 1st year, then single room onwards. 3. Mess quality is decent, depends on mess. Sometimes good, sometimes not. 4. Hostel registration is done after admission in college itself. No extra charges applicable for hostel. Totally affordable. 5. Rented rooms are allowed outside the campus but hostel are more comfortable according to my perspective.

Admission

Eligibility for Course- NEET UG Application form- NTA Official Website (All details available there) Reservation - For OBC, ST, SC PwD (Details available on website of NTA NEET UG) Admission is based on merit list.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is good, there are ample number of professors along with Senior Residents for 125 students in class. They are very approachable, we can meet them in their department easily and clear out doubts, if any and during clinicals, hand to hand doubt clearing is done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum prepares the student very well for the medical knowledge and medical practice the course is designed in such a way to make the student knowledgeable and confident enough To practice medicine and treat them. Lectures , practicals , SLMs , PCTs, Prelims, annual exam And clinical postings Make the student very much aware of the medical knowledge That he or she is receiving. In third year the practical can be more engaging in my opinion Exam difficulty level is okay and It covers all the topics which are taught under given in the syllabus Which are needed to be there
