Course Curriculum Overview

4

My main reason to opt this college was because the curriculum has a really major role of practical learning and project work , industries standard machine and equipment are available to work and are taught many different courses are provided by clg for placement interview, public speaking entrepreneurship and more the only major problem I feel is with assignment the whole donkey work thing it feels like for assignment some practical Knowledge based activities can be done like case study etc we'll the frequency of exams is a bit concerning I have given 3 end sem exams in an year but it was because of covid

Internships Opportunities

4

Multiple companies offer internship either paid or unpaid some companies even offer project work to the students which they complete with the help of company materials a stipend of nearly 10000 is offerd by the companies for the roles many projects are company sponsored in the campus Ike the electric vehicle charger etc

Placement Experience

4

The placement depends on the job market each year but we get a decently good amount of placement many companies like Deloitte , force motors , tata motors, palaoto etc recruits students and nearly 45-50 big offers are made the highest package received was of 60k dollars it was a foreign exchange student from the clg and i India it was 35 lpa nearly 60% students are placed my plans are to continue the heridatery buisness of my family

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees are a bit high but being a private college it is understandable but for some reason the clg asks for more money except the fees like for value added programs which are made compulsory, for btech the average fees per year is 225000 including tution fees and basic services and amenities, scholarship programs are available in clg depending on marks which mostly change depending on course

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest named persona is a huge 1 week fest happening in February and more 3 -4 small Fests are there each year many project expos etc are organised seminars etc the college library has a vide variety of books available and are easy to issue the classrooms are equipped with either digital class board or projectors there is a yearly general championship of sports and multiple inter clg ones there are many student run grps in clg for multiple things like feeding strays and , poor PPL , cleaning campus etc

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is decent with multiple in campus and out campus hostels available each room has triple sharing beds cupboards study tables , common water cooler on each floor warden's aee good , camera surveillance etc the food i decent clg have multiple mess options , the hostel is a bit expensive 150000 yearly the locality is good I like in a rented flat nd it is great the locals are friendly

Admission

The admission process is really easy either online or offline , online form costs 1000 refundable and the basis of admission is cet marks jee marks and pera cet marks mostly 70 percentile is needed but depends on the cut off 4 pera cet rounds are there , and regeneration is easy hardly takes 2 hrs the only problem is the website it's laggy and complicated

Faculty

3.5

The faculty ratio is 1 faculty per 30 students for technology most of the faculties are really polite and helpful and have good approach over teaching some of them are a bit strict and students are scared of them , the teachers whenever they are not busy in lecture or meetings are approachable and are really humble will help u with all kinds of doubt academic non academic practical , project related etc

Interview Experience

4.5

The test i appeared was pera cet even mht cet or jee mains works for admission the tests are MCQ based and mostly depends on 12 th portion the main criteria is 50% in pcm or pcb in 12th and 70 percentile min or whatever the cut off will be for admission i had prepared for jee already so I was well and confident

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
