Entrance Preview

I took an All india entrace of HMCTC and got a ranking of 1566 I chose this course because i liked Hospitality Industry and in the end i wanted to join a Cruise Ship which I did eventully Iam right now working for a American Cruise Liner in Miami Carnival Cruise.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is good for students who love Hospitality. The college at Wayanad is on a nice one with a good faculty and nice placement I got into Oberois through Campus Interview.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is where The college sent you I was sent to Leela Kovalam and was paid a stipend of Rs 6500.

Placement is excellent and Mostly All five star Hotel and above came to campus They offered a starting of rs15000

Hostel is nice with four student in each room with attached bath with hot water fees comes to 35000 per sem plus hostel fees of rs 5000 inclusive of mess fee there are six semester Mess is good because students themselves prepare it as part of training.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
