Quality of Education in Oriental School Of Hotel Management

The college management is very strict that they do not allow any student to grow excess hair or beard. All students should be well groomed like professionals.

The course curriculum is truly based on research methods. The teachers are very keen in moulding every students to a true professional. There wolud be a 6 month training programme at a 5 star Hotel for every Student. This is also considered as an industrial visit too. The institution probides campus placement for every students.

The college provides campus placement for both industrial visits and for jobs for every graduates. I have availes industrial training in a five star Hotel called "The Raviz Calicut" form the placement offered from my college. The institution could provide placement for every student to graduates. The institution prepare the students for job interviews through special programmes and classes.

As it is a Hotel Management institution, food fest will be conducted every year by all departments. Atleast there would be 250 participants in the fest. The hotel management students prepare the food for the fest. This is mainly conducted on the Christmas event.

The fee structure is very transparent and yhe college accept every mode of payment even cheque. My programme was Bachelor of hotel management abd it was a 3 year degree course. It cost me about 2 lakh indian rupees. This is only tution fee, hostel fee should be paid separately. (about 1 lakh INR). The fee breakdown chart is available at the accounts facility.

I got a scholarship in which my tution fee was 3000 INR less in annual. In addition I also got an education loan from Canara Bank india. Every bank in india provide education loan for students of oriental School Of Hotel Management. The college will provide a fee structure and a letter to the bank manager in order to make the bank paperwork smooth.

Campus life was so good, there was arts, sports and all kinds of cultural activities. The female to male ratio is 2:8 in the institution because most of yhe female are not willing to join hotel management course in india. There is no problem regarding race and religion in the institution.

I stay in hostel room. Hostel rooms are very spacious and it is on sharing basis. All kind of security measures are maintained at the hostel. 3000INR is the monthly rent of hostel. The food is not very good.

The senior students are very helpful in preparing presentation and interviews. They are always willing to share their experiences and knowledge to juniors.

I choose Hotel Management as my course because it has plenty of job opportunities everywhere. Oriental school of hotel management is one of the best college in India in terms of quality of Education in Hotel Management industry. The institution have won several Awards form the government also. The admission criteria was according to the merit list and I got a scholarship considering my academic performance in High school. Every year the admission starts at the month of March to July.

There are total of 15 faculties working just in Hotel management department of the college, both young and experienced faculties working as a team to provide the best quality of education to all students. Most of the faculties and teachers hold a minimum of 2 year industrial experience in their required field of subject.
