Course Curriculum Overview

4

I really liked the course curriculum because if we compare it with GTUs many important subjects are not covered there, but here majority of the important subjects are covered. There are many electives options are provided for covering all the domains in which students are interested. I personally think there should be given more importance to both DSA or Competitive Programming and the Web Development. In each semester two exams occurs : 1. Mid Semester Exam : 30 marks exam consisting of 6 Question of 5 marks each . 2. Semester Exam or University Exam : 70 marks exam (Theory) + 30 marks (Practical) In theory, 14 Questions are asked each of 5 marks. Mid Semester exams occurs 2 to 2.5 months after the semester starts. Final exam occurses 1.5 or 2 month after the mid semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are no direct internships provided by the college but yes they keep updating us if there are any good internship opportunity are present. But yes, Internship is compulsory for students in the 7th and 8th semester. From past two years LDRP ties up with TatvaSoft and provide some sort of Virtual Internship (not mandatory) for interested students.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements starts from mid 7 Semester and students will become eligible to apply for that. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Capgemini, Arguesoft, TatvaSoft, einfochips, Simform and some small companies from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad visit here. Wide varieties of profiles are offered by companies covering major domains like Web Development, Data Scientist, Software Engineering etc. Many other companies like rtCamp don't visit the campus but provide updates via college about their online job opportunities. Highest package goes upto 10-12 LPA and average package is around 3-4 LPA. About 60% who applied for placements get placed. I am also planning for the campus placement, currently targeting rtCamp.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 54000 fees per semester for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. Summing up to 108000 per year. There is an option for MYSY Scholarship (Rs 50000) for those students who have above 80% in their 12th board examination. For students who secured TFWS seat will get 100% Tution Fee Waiver. Other than these, there is no financial assistance provided in my knowledge.

Campus Life

4

Xenesis is a tech event or tech fest which happens every year in LDRP and many participants from other colleges also attend this events. I really love this event, here students organize their events, open their food stalls and many events (kind of game) including both tech and non tech organized here. Generally this occurs during February month. Meanwhile Sports and extracurricular activities happens throughout the year which I personally don't know anything about them. There are no student clubs or groups here which is a very sad thing. And I really want that college authorities should look into this matter. In the classrooms all the basic facilities are there, majority of the classrooms don't have AC and projectors. In library you will find all the course curriculum books, reference books, competitive examination books and also non academic books. In the library one lab is present, where we can get previous year question papers too.

Admission

All the seats are filled according to ACPC counselling. So, Round 1 and Round 2 of the ACPC are handled online and we need to fill our choices there based on that we will get the allotment. Rank between 4000 - 10000 will get the seat in Round 1 and Round 2. In the Round 3, ACPC will released the vacant seats present in all the colleges then we need to go to the college and fill the form for that offline. Rank upto 13000 - 14000 will get the admission in Round 3. But yes, you should keep yourself updated regularly regarding all this. Overall the admission process is seamless, and the college authorities will also guide you and update you accordingly regarding the whole process. Note : There is not other entrance exams for the admission, all the seats are filled according to ACPC counselling only. Rank under 3000 have a higher chances of getting TFWS seat (100% Tution Fee Waiver)

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is about 1 to 80 which I think is decent and majority of the faculty is able to handle the class properly. Some faculties are very expert in their subjects and their teaching style is just amazing. But on the same side you will find some faculties which can't even teach without looking at their PPTs. Mentors are also allocated divison wise and they will look into your matters, resolve your queries/complains and provide guidance. In the first year, every week there is mentoring session and afterwards month-wise they provide mentoring session. Majority of the faculties have done Masters only few of them are PhDs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
