Do consider this in your college application!!

First year of all students is all the same. General knowledge subjects like chemistry physics and for some C programming is also a useless subject. The course curriculum can be improved by engaging students in more practical knowledge rather than theoretical ranting done by teachers. Labs can provide with more instruments that are latest in technology and are more accurate than the existing ones. The frequency of exams is the worst one that i have ever seen. Internal Assesment exams are held within one month of completing previous Internal Assessment exam. Holidays are also limited by the college.

Students are made to give mock interviews from the third year and are thoroughly prepared for placements by the college itself. Many companies visit the college for campus placements such as TCS Cognizant Wipro and many more. The highest package offered by company is around 3-5 LPA now these numbers totally depend on your performance.The percentage of students getting placement is considerably high as most of the students go for further studies or give off campus interviews.

The college has very high fees. Earlier it used to be around 1.36 Lakhs per year but it has been reduced to 1 lakh per month. The college charges very high fees for the KT and Revaluation charges. College fors not provide files for lab manuals and they have their exclusive cardboard printed files that are expensive. You cant buy them anywhere else you'd have to purchase them from college stationary shop itself. That shop also does not have online payments or colour printouts facility. Placements are average

Throughout the whole year, many cultural sports and technical events are held by the college councils. Many influential people are invited to these events and various indulging activities are held. The college library is also average you get what you want and the library has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with views of greenery from the windows. Only thing missing is air conditioning.

Eligibility of courses is standard as advised by the University of Mumbai. All the applicants that wish to take admission are assisted beforehand by teachers and advised by them to take admission in particular field. Reservation seats are well numbered as well as the college is a Punjabi minority college so they have an advantage there.

Faculty to student ratio is very good. All the teachers are very helpful and available at all times. All the teachers are always approachable and available to help at any time. The faculty also has a group of members and a psychologist who is available two times a week. Students' mental health is also taken very seriously by the college management.
