A good basic revies of VIT Chennai

Cse has got ht empst number of opportunities Some of the curriculum is helpful,some are jst useless. There are some topucs to be updated as there are outdated The frequency is fine,timings are also fine,the difficult varies but mostly is moderate

Interships are good in this college Many get interships from foreign countries Many get internships from core companies some get them in non core companies Some companies are microsoft,ibm,oracle,infosys,wipro The projects usually are company group projects

3rd year student become eligible for campus placements. Google,microsoft,ibm,goldsmith,wipro and many more The highest package was about 32lacks per annum. The average package is about 8 lacks per annum Almost 99 percent of the student get campus recruited If i get a good offer i il take that or will go for higher studies somewhere else

The total fees for me is 490000 for one year Hostel fees 200000 for one year Making the total 690000 for a year The tuition fee dint increase for now but may increase the next year for new admissions. Currently there are no scholarships available for freshers. There are scholarships for students from the 2nd year though

Vibrance during march,technovit during october Ghe books and journals are available in the library which is large and contains books of all kinds The classrooms are ussually equipped with projectors and speakers Labs are equipped with good computers which are powerful enough Sports grounds are generally good axcept for a football ground which is not grass covered There are many clubs and there are special clubs in the college

The room has ac s and fans,a cupboard,and wall shelf bunker beds in 4 bed and 6 bed rooms The meals are pretty bad across all the messes Low protein high carbohydrate meals which are bad for health The hostels are allotted automatically during the allotment process

The admission to the college required an entrance exam viteee. Required a rank below 40000 to get any branch of cse No reservations for admission The exams are held once per year The difficulty is moderate The challenge is to solve as many questions as possible in the given time The admission exma is sometimes not fare and the ranking is not fare aometimes because the exam difficultiea vary for evey day

With a class strength of about 60,the faculty to student ratio is fine. Some of the faculty is helping and bery supportive some just do their job. U can approch faculty most of the time During class after class nd in the cabin.
