- The course is well structured. You will also get subjects like pt games and NSS in first and second year.
- Campus is well maintained. The campus doesn't consist of many things but the things present are well maintained.
- Its is located about 8 km away from the main town of Deoghar and about 1.5 km from the railway station of Jasidih
Dislikes
- The campus is very small as compared to main campus.
- The main campus is of 750 acres while it is of 25 acres of land only.
- Since it is located in very remote area, you don't get many options for chilling out inside as well as outside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
So, we can say that the cirriculum is a little old school. Because during first and second year, you get a mandatory subject of PT & Games or NSS; which are not really relevent in today's world. Yes, physical health is something which we cannot ignore but we are in this college to get future ready for IT industry.
Internships Opportunities
In 5th semester, you get a mandatory internships(for computer science branch), also, you get 3 months break during summer season and 2 months break during winter season for students to do internships.
Placement Experience
There comes the main point of taking admission in this college, despite being from this college, you get the degree of BIT MESRA (main campus), nowhere it will be written that you are a student of deoghar campus. The placements are really awesome. As there are layoffs gping on but in our college we didn't have that much dip in placement percentage(We definitely did but not as much as other private colleges).
Fees and Financial Aid
So, I am just dropping the exact amount of fee, you need to pay semester wise(only academic fee included) : 1st semester = 2,43,000 2nd sem = 1,61,000 3rd sem = 1,78,000 4th sem = 1,78,000 5th sem = 1,95,500 6th sem = 1,95,500 7th sem = 2,15,000 8th sem = 2,15,000 Also, there is hostel and mess fee 25,000 per semester.
Campus Life
Basically, there are two main fests held every year, namely Utthan and Aghaaz, and small celebrations are also held like saraswati puja, vishwakarma puja, republic day, etc. Also, there are not many many number of clubs, mainly 3 or 4 clubs are there which is active now days.
Hostel Facilities
So, it is mandatory for everyone to reside in hostel provided by the college. There are 2 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The mess facility is also available and I have to say this that the mess is really nice here, you get many varities, also you get 4 meals a day.
Admission
The eligibility of this course is that you should have cleared at least jee mains. There is main/official website available on google in which application for different courses roll out. Also for the courses like, BBA, BCA.
Faculty
The faculties here are very helpful. As there is lack of non-teaching staff, the assistants staffs take care in admission office, general office, etc. You can approach the teachers very easily. The thing I like about here is there is very low population of students, so by the end of 2nd year, every professors know you by your name.
