Remarks

I applied to VIT Chennai, Manipal, SRM, Pondicherry University, IIIT Pune, IIIT Bhubaneswar- Chose BIT Mesra, Deoghar for its good brand image and proximity to home. No quota availed The minimum rank in JEE Main is 2L, and the age is 17. It was okay, the mark sheets were collected and verified and hostels were shown.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electronics because that was the next best course after Computer Science for placements, and I was not too fond of programming so didn't go for CSE. 1:10. All faculties are at least MTech. Most of them are PhD. The teaching method is good. But mostly stick to the syllabus. BIT Mesra exams are hard to pass. You need to have a C or above to pass a course. There were 2 semesters a year, and a mid-semester and an end-semester per semester. The grading system is absolute, and not relative.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

7th semester. Centralized placement system at BIT Mesra, Ranchi. 65+ students got placed. Highest package- 14 LPA(software development-Samsung R&D), Average package(6 LPA). Percentage of students getting placement- 60%. - Working as a data scientist.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike was not significant. It was an averagely of 2.5 lakh per semester. GP Birla Scholarship was awarded to students in each semester with a minimum of 8 SGPA and parents combined income of less than 4 LPA(40% of the fees was to be paid). I got placed in Times Internet, with a package of 13.5 LPA (2nd highest placement).

Campus Life

Utthaan was the annual techno-cultural fest organized by the college which happened in March. Ample availability of books and journals. Smart Classrooms. Sports were given prime importance with students participating in inter-college activities across all sports. DRISHTI-- Group for teaching rural kids during weekends. Music Club, Dance Club, Dramatics Club, Literary Society, Robotics Society, News and Publication Society.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Beds, cupboards, chairs & tables. The meal was good, with a variety of food served each day. Registration happened on first day, was allotted based on first come first serve. The room was affordable. Stayed in the hostel(Deoghar).

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Experience of an undergrad

For taking admission in this college you should must give jee mains exams,as this college is now lister under josaa and csab therefore maximum of it seats and alloted through this counsellings,some of the vacants seats are filled by the internal counselling conducted by the bit mesra considering jee mains rank.I got admission to this college through jee mains rank in the csab 1st round into the btech in computer science and engineering.the application forms of jee mains can be found on the NTA website with its own form fees for the exam.In the jee mains reservation is provided according to the category,the exam level is moderate to hard the exam is conducted twice in an year most probably jan and april.the internal counselling forms can be found on bit mesra website after jee mains exams. the cutoff ranges from 88 percentile above for general ,80 + for obc as well as for Ews and 70+ for sc/st....Read More

1.The admission process is easy. You should have to appear in Jee mains examination then You have to sit in councelling process of JOSSA Or CSAB the merit list came after that you have to pay a fix amount of admission fee to book your seat and after some day to have to came to college for document verification. 2.The college also give privilage to jharkhand obc student, student should have JEE mains score card and have obc certificate which is issued by SDO only.
