Generally, I liked what I got out of it. It wasn’t perfect, esp. from a social perspective. There’s often “the one who got away” and I honestly don’t know how I could have gotten a different outcome. He let himself get away. If I could do it all over

Dislikes

The Locality around is not so nice and developed.. coming from a city like Patna it feels underdeveloped

Course Curriculum Overview

My course which I've pursued is what I have always desired to do.. The time which we are living in AI is the Best. The whole world is dependent on Ai moreover this is the domain which actually has high paid jobs. And who would not like to get one. The frequency of lab classes must be increased as the difficulty increases. Because it completely is a new thing to us.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 589000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees increases every year. And the increase is just of 40-50 thousand. Which to me is not a big amount as compared to other college fees. My complete education including my hostel is 8 Lacs. Approximately. And the food I've to pay separately according to the mess bill I get. You get multiple scholarships in the college inculdinf sports quota and EWS and scoring high ranks in WBJEE

Campus Life

CAMPUS LIFE TILL DATE HAS BEEN AMAZING TO ME.. There are multiple events that are organized in our college. The one is ANNUAL CULTURAL MEET. Other goes our most famous technical Fest PRAYUKTI which is actually collaborated with IIT KHARAGPUR . The next fest is RIVEIRA which is one of those the whole college eagerly waits for.. There are multiple clubs and societies including tech societies and musical clubs.. Npo and Ngo are also there... Also every year an ANNUAL SPORTS MEET is held

Admission

THE ADMISSION process was very smooth. I appeared for WBJEE entrance exam there I secure the rank 11777. Which made me eligible for the course I am studying CSE with specialization in ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING. If you're getting good 11000 rank or under that you can get good course in HIT.. Improvement which is required is in the facility for sitting area for guardians..

For 1500 students we have over all 350 faculty member which is a good ratio.. but being honest, to interact with teachers and approachibility is really low for 1st year students especially.. Faculty are mostly Phd.'s

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

HIT HALDIA - AT A GLANCE

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. Admission process of my college is not that much complicated for Regular admission like through WBJEE and JEE Mains.
