- Greeny (greeny is around 100 acers) of the campus is very well and big campus, there is lots of trees in gcoea campus which gives enough oxygen and also provides purified air
- College is also provides Hostel facilities which is good, Infrastructure of the hostel is also well and meal of mess is also good
- Student collaboration in campus is much supportive and also faculties of mechanical department are also supporting
Dislikes
- Some non teaching staff in students section are really arrogant
- Infrastructure of college buildings is not well and also auditorium is not available for college festivals. College uniform is not summer friendly
- Some Laboratory instruments is not available for practical purposes, also AC are not working not
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is overall good. And faculties teaching is really good as a professional teachers like IITs. Some times it's feels like critical reference book we can't understand easily. Difficulty level of final exam is really hard and environment at the time of exam and in the exam hall is too strict.
Placement Experience
College provides campus placement for bright students. Eligibility of campus placement is student must be in 4th year that means students pass 6th semester end semester examination. For core branches company like L & T is very famous it gives good (6 lpa) package according to level of students. 30 to 50% students are placed in on campus placement. I planed prepareding for gate examination
Fees and Financial Aid
For OBC students all four years fees is around 2 lack, for government college it's really huge and also according to facility fees is too high. For middle class fees is affordable. According to theory lectures fees are affordable but if we think about practicals class prospects fees of college is too high.
Campus Life
So in Government College of Engineering, Amravati conducted two annual event culture festival called 'Zenith' and technical festival called 'Prajwalan'. In cultural fest college gives opportunity to students show internal talent in the form of dance, music and many more. In college there in many clubs for students and clubs also organised their own events and participate in national competition and win the tropies for college. The most famous club in college is RTF i. e. Robo-tech forum. But at the time of festival some teachers are not supportive.
Hostel Facilities
In Hostel they gives much better facilities like bed, study table, chair, personal almira and light, fan also. Hostel provide us good security (specially for girls ) and they don't feels like we are in a cage. Meal of hostel is really good compared to the others mess in amravati. But mess staff behaviour with some students is feels like they are partiality and this is not good. Registation process for hostel is really simple we can discuss with the hostel staff and according to room or pg hostels are always affordable but maintainence fees is little bit high. Around the college campus there is many ranted room and pg available. In shegoan naka and kathora naka side there is many room available for students
Admission
The eligibility for 1 St year student is 12th pass, and good score in mht-cet or JEE mains. Cut off of college is about 85%ile+ it's is depends upon what branch is choosen by you. CSE and IT department cut off really high campre to other branches.
Faculty
Most of the teaching faculties are well qualified and skilled accordance to level of it's job and teaching subjects, some faculties of mechanical are very student friendly and aware about students career. They gives me proper suggestions, support and directions for how to do study. Non teaching staff of departments are also supportive and student friendly behaviour, it's really encourages students to asked any doubt and cleared it. It's really good think about college
