It has a very big campus with so many trees .
Many more clubs with active club activities.
Cultural Festivals happens in most unique way .

Dislikes

Not very much developed campus with under construction .
Very hard academics and curriculum than you think .
Many restrictions and hard discipline is given.

Curriculum is very tuff and a chanlanging one .but our jr. curriculum means the new curriculum which under NEP is rather easy than the old one . But it is very informative and knowledgeable for our future.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided but they are not that good and they are just given to top most students .but they are beneficial for our courier. They are like courses .if we perform well in projects then they give us stipend.

Placement Experience

Our college offer good campus placement with good packages but with criteria of no current backlogs and with cgpa above 7 and some companies even recomend excellent students with no backlogs in history of engineering with cgpa greater than 8

Fees structure vary according to caste and it is given in official websites of gcoea.ac.in . Cut off criteria is also given there.Many scholarships are given like simens, alumini and many more other .

Campus Life

Campus is very near to nature and good senneries. There are many club and they do active events very often and do different activities in festival events .many cultural fest happen in unique way which is a good thing.

Admission

We have to give mht cet in pcm criteria and score more than 90 percentile to be in better branch in our college . Admission process is fully offline and lengthy .We have to personally fillthe form and very our documents .

Faculty

Faculties are very well educated and etheir prof.or dctorate. They help us understand everything well and teach us in very friendly manner .we can ask them any doubt and they explain us in very understanding way .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

i got 97.43percentile in MHT CET i have more college options in other locations like pune,Mumbai,sangli etc Other Colleges like coep,pict,etc are very good but i get the lower branch in top instute. Mht-Cet is the entrance exam through which we can get admission in this college. The cut-off is different for various categories.For CSE branch the cut-off of OBC students is 96%tile and for OPEN it is upto 97- 98%tile. Pros and cons of GCOEA

For taking admission in the Government Colleges of Maharashtra every student should have to give the MHTCET exam which are Conducted after 12 Board exmination . Students should have give MHTCET Exam in PCM (Physiscs, Chemistery,Maths) group. I have found application form in MHTCET website, where all details were given. As i am belong to Reserve Category and with additional and my father was Ex- Army person, which made my increase my chances to take admission in Government college .
