I wrote IIT-JEE, AIEEE and BITSAT entrance examinations.IIT-JEE Rank : 5006 AIEEE Rank : 6211 BITSAT Score: 342I chose to opt for BITS Pilani since I was allotted the branch of my choice (Electrical & Electronics) at the end of second iteration.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario at our campus has always been extremely positive, most of our students have their career paths charted much before graduation. Almost 500 students from the Pilani campus sit for placements every semester, of these almost 100% succeed in securing a job. About or Nearly 160 reputed companies visit our campus every year, a number of whom are repeat visitors.

College Events

Campus life is vibrant and engaging. A number of clubs are active on the campus and the student union is responsible for the management of student activities. The campus also hosts various student events and festivals. Each component of the festival or event is designated as a department and is again completely student managed. Oasis: Oasis is the cultural festival conducted annually since 1971.

Fee structure when I joined was pretty feasible but has slightly increased over the past few years.

College seniors are very helpful and guide their juniors in every sphere. There is a facebook group called "BITSIANS for each other" wherein students can post any queries they may have related to MS applications, placement opportunities etc or can connect to any senior working in the institute of their choice instantaneously.

The faculty standards at BITS are pretty descent. In every department there are at least 2-3 profs who have completed their PHD and another 2-3 who are undergoing one. Faculty members are highly focused on research and have numerous publications in well r

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
