Course Curriculum Overview

I would like to say that our course cover each and every thing that a student need in case..but there is a mistake that they have taught us data structure in wrong way and they taught us data structure in 2nd semester when we don't know about cse so much...so many students just muggled up dsa to pass the exam without learning something

Internships Opportunities

College offers many internship to us...some time before we were offered intership from IIT bhubaneswar..Google internship were also offered...and many projects were also given and certificate too...they also offer paid intership

Placement Experience

On campus placement are good ...many companies came to take students this year we got 44 lpa as highest placement previous year it was 58lpa from palato... nearly 75 percentage of students got placed...and I would like to add that you have to maintain cgpa if u want to placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is worth it from my point of view...dit give scholarship on many basis such as class 13 board marks ..jee rank, sports quota, 15 percentage scholarship for uttrakhand students and also offers scholarship for students who belong to army family

Campus Life

Our campus life is very good there are two events held every year youthopia and sphurti..youthopia for cultural and sphurti for sports...our classrooms are fully moders and there are many clubs which helps us to learn many things

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are not good not bad type ..rooms are good for first year students than you will get some bad rooms ...lunch and breakfast offered is good but you will not get good food in dinner...you can apply for hostel by coming to campus..if u don't want hostel there are many pg and flat outside the campus

Hostel Fee: INR 128000 per year

Admission

Admission process is very simple..I have taken admission through on campus counseling...they take admission on basis of class 12 marks and jee score.. application form is easily available on their site

Faculty

More over all the faculties are from nit and IIT...they are top research scholar in their field and they have international papers too....some teachers have also studied from dit and teached us.. teachers have decent nature

GEU makes complete engineers!

Placement Experience:

Oracle these days as some alumni of our college are working there and they have made them come to our university every year. Google and Amazon as well hired students almost every year from our college and because it's a batch of 900 students the average is 8 lakhs as some students even gets placements of 40-50 LPA every year.

Good Talk

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

A conforting campus experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

the btech curriculum is relevant with good balance of theory labs and project which influenced my decision to join it prepares students for internships and higher studies .adding more industry workshops and latest tools would help. exams are moderate with internal tests and one final each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum at graphic era hill university as highly relevent and fairly comprehensive because it include all the essential subjects like data structures ,operating system , database management systems etc.the combinatiin of both practical abd theory subject can help student to gain real word knowledge and can also achieve technical skills,the curriculum could be improve by adding more hands on industry projects , live workshop and update elective options that focus on current technologies ,exam frequency is well structured with one mid semester and one end semester , the exams are moderately difficult .

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
