The premises could have been better, construction are going on for now on both the sides of clg and canteen menu and interior could be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

I will never regret choosing this course as in this is the best course we can persue in this college and the college timings, extra courses taken by our college department makes us more ready to compete in real world

Third year students can apply for internship opportunities interviews are taken by companies in online mode or in campus and students are slected for it some are just for experience the real world they have no stipend and major company offer their internship with stipend

Placement Experience

In From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement TCS ninja Infosis Godrej Amazon are the most popular onces highest package was of 24 lakhs till now average packages is around 5-6 lakhs. Majority of the students gets placed just 1 or 2 of them might not be placed our tpo sell helps to get us get higher study guidance and provide us a perfect route to the masters too

A open category student may need 4,80,000 for completeing this course from this college but if u avail the certain criteria by providing required documents college may consider nad provide u with the alotted consession by governmnet. Campus placements are also good is our college as recently NAAC has certified our college so hoping for more better placements from now

Campus Life

many fest take place in our college most famous once are MAIBOLI , SPORTIVO and department committes also has their own event atleast once in 2 months some indoor game facilities are also provided to students like chess ,carrom ,table tennis etc

Admission

It was pretty easy for me i filled the application form from government webiste of mumbai university after HSC I was alloted this college on the basis of my JEE main marks 88 percentile by availing my caste certificate and & 75 percentage in my 12th Internal Exams are not that difficult if we study on regular basis what our facukties teach us My admission process took just about an Hour in the clg on alloted days

Faculty

60 students per class are tahught by single faculty . they make sure majority students could understand the concept in the class itself some random Q n A rounds are taken between class and some extra classes are also taken for the students who request for it

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
