What Students Say

Likes

Location - since the college is on a highway and has metro at a walking distance, commuting to and from college is easy.
Faculty- our college has an experienced set of teachers and they're quite supportive.

Dislikes

The small campus area- campus is 20 acres something. Too small for a college.
The crowd - local, non btech students are mostly rowdies who have no relation with studying at all.

Course Curriculum Overview

This, i believe is where the college lacks. The things we're studying are not making us job ready. The students have to be job ready by doing courses from other sources. The college is more focused on building the foundation of a student in all the fields, rather than just their domain.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for BTech is generally 1Lakh-1.1Lakh without any concession. The students can avail scholarships and TFW benefits to reduce their fees. Most of the scholarships are for girls and single children. Students from reserved categories are given edge in the scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

Cultural fests don't happen here. Technical fests do occur time to time. Digiweek, digifiesta, La Vida are some of the tech fests. They're held in September, July and April respectively. There are a lot of clubs in college. Sports club Eklavya is one of the most famous clubs here. Classrooms have air-conditioning and smart boards installed.

Admission

Admission is done based on the JEE mains exam. The student must have 60% or above in class 12th and have given JEE mains in the corresponding admission year. The college has a lot of reserved seats, some of which can be made available for general candidate. Exams in college are at a decent gap from each other, difficulty is really easy as compared to JEE. Admission process is good, it doesn't really need any changes.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the faculty in BTech department are PHD holders and have years of experience. They're all easily approachable. Since some teachers are from other states, there is sometimes the issue of language barrier but overall learning experience is good. Regarding issues such as attendance and doubts, you can always approach your teacher.

My admission process was smooth and I didn't face any difficulty in that. I gave an exam JEE MAINS and on basis of ranks I got YMCA and my desired field that is Computer Engineering with specialization in data science. Application forms and date of admission and other necessary information is given on the website timely. JC Bose University, YMCA -- best college

The eligibility of our college is having to jee rank along with 75% in boards. Then we have to register in HSTES counseling which is for Haryana's' govt colleges and then maintain the priority list of branches and colleges in sequence. Reservation helps a lot in the first two counseling rounds but the third and fourth counseling rounds are open counseling rounds for the left seats. For btech , one need to first clear the jee mains entrance examination, after clearing for counselling process you need to participate in HSTES counseling.
