Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to pursue MCA for a better future ahead in my life. Studying MCA in KIIT has given me knowledge and opportunity to withstand in my life ahead. One cons I need to mention is the rotte technique and writing exams

Class Size: 450Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I took Internship on AWS Cloud Computing from Jetking Infotrain Ltd. My internship was aided by KIIT High Raidius and Jetking. I worked on the project related related to AWS Lambda. I gained experience about the corporate world by the help of this Internship and Project.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is too high due to which we needed to take loan from the bank. The university didn't give much scholarship and financial aid as expected. The placement status was also satisfactory as expected. If would have been much better than as usual.

Campus Life

We enjoyed the Silver Jubilee Celebrations and the KIIT Fest a lot. The University is well equipped with smart classrooms having highly experienced professors. The University's sports facilities are excellent. I represented the University in Swimming in the National University Games.

Hostel Facilities

The review of the hostel was a little unsatisfactory. That's why I stayed at the hostel only till the autumn semester of the final year. After that I stayed at the rental room during final year's spring semester. The food quality of the hostel's mess was average and fair.

Hostel Fee: INR 155000 per year

Admission

I gave the KIITEE Entrance Exam. I secured 86 percentile in the entrance exam and hence got selected. I didn't opt for any Reservation benefits. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. I gave the the KIITEE Phase II Exam which was conducted on April 2022 in Online mode.

Faculty

The faculty with student ratio is little low due to which the interaction between the faculty and the student is low. The faculties are well trained to encourage and motivate the students for a better future and career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curiculum offers a well rounded and industry focused education covering core subjects like C,java,C++,python with modern technologies like Machine Learning,Cloud computing etc.The curiculum focuses on practical application with theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems.This approach helps students to get ready for industry level works.While the curiculum is good,I suggest there should be more focus on elective subjects such as cybersecurity,block chain etc rather than only the foundational knowledge.Semester exams are held at end of each semester with internal and pratical examination done beforehand.The exams are moderately difficult but theteaching methods and resource provided by faculties make it better to get good grades in exams.
