What Students Say
Likes
- Every office work is done online on Amity's portal Amizone so there's no need to run to various departments for anything big or small.
- If your attendance goes below 75%, you can opt for an option where in you can sit for your exam if it's above 70% but your max grade in that subject will be 7.
- Really good placement opportunities provided by the placement team.
Dislikes
- Not all but some teachers are rude but I suppose that happens everywhere.
- Some rules are so strict that sometimes it can be really frustrating.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well formed and most of the subjects that I was required to prepare for my placements were already taught in the curriculum. So, I just had to brush up and revise those before sitting for interviews instead of starting fresh. Despite this being a technical course, it included various non tech subjects that really helped in building and shaping my overall personality and boosted by confidence. We had to give regular presentations and participate in events.
Internships Opportunities
In Amity when you are in your third year of BTech you have to do a mandatory internship which has to be a technical internship like you can't be doing it in sales or any other related field so some of the students got offline internships from their desired mentors or companies in which they apply but Amity itself also provides internship opportunities for various companies which are very renowned such as Amazon, Google, etc offering very decent packages according to internships what they give both the option to students if you want to go for on campus or of campus it's totally up to you. The internships provided by Amity also come with PPO so if your performance is good you will definitely get placed their full time. Other than that Amity has its own incubation centre. If a student is unable to get an internship off campus and couldn't even crack one arranged by the placement coordinators then they can sit for the interview of Amity's own incubation centre which is a great chance too.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are really good. Throughout the course every student is prepared well enough to be nicely suited to be eligible for placement in any company. The course throughout focuses on improving the overall skills and personality of the students, both technical and soft skills. The average package offered is around 5 LPA and the maximum package offered this year was more than 50 LPA. Almost all renowned companies come to Amity University for placements. The placement procedure is quite smooth and I'm satisfied with it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is as such that it might not be affordable for everyone but if the student is worthy enough Amity provides great Scholarship opportunities for as much as 100%. Even the fees can be paid in installments if you don't have a scholarship. And students pursuing masters and PhD can start teaching in Amity itself if they are qualified enough. Other than that, they have really great placements, even during recession almost all of the batch got placed. The average package is around 5 LPA. While the maximum package offered was more than 50 LPA.
Campus Life
Well, this is one of my favourite topics to talk about while discussing Amity. The campus life at Amity University is really very amazing it is one of the best time of the life that you can have and expect You get to meet a lot of people not just from your department but all over. Everybody there is very welcoming and there are strict rules against ragging. Even if something goes wrong there is always department you can go to and seek help. Other than that the vibe of H block and all of the campus is very amazing. From music to sports you have an event for almost everything, from writing to dancing to modelling everything you can name. All religious festivals are celebrated here from Diwali to Ramzan. Annual sports meet called Sangathan with almost every sport takes place around October on founder's day. Amity has it's own dog school. Hawan happens here daily. Annual fest is so fun that non Amitians also try to enter and tight security has to be maintained for them.
Admission
The admission process for Amity University Noida involves several key steps and considerations. Here is a detailed overview: Eligibility Criteria Academic Requirements: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Eligibility of the Course Where to find the application form, application fees, and application dates Details of Reservation Benefits (if availed) The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level Suggest the areas for improvement in the admission process. The form fees is 1100 rs available both online and offline. Personal interview is conducted for every student whose application form is accepted for further admission. Overall, the admission process is quite smooth. Everything can be done online if you want, you just have to be there for the personal interview which is offline.
Faculty
All faculties are either enrolled in PHD or they've already done their PHDs. So they're totally qualified for their jobs. Some of them are really helpful while some can be a little rude. But overall, the ratio is good, they provide a good learning opportunity and curve.
Interview Experience
I am from 2020 Covid batch so all of my admission process was definitely online. I filled the form online then I got a call for personal interview where in I was asked 3 questions. First one was my introduction, then a general English topic to speak on. and the third one was a from the course that I had studied in 12th standard. But my brother recently joined Amity he is in first year so the admission process for him was offline though he had the option to fill the form online and that's what he did but for the personal interview he had to go to the campus and while he was there the parents were given lunch and campus tour. In a day or two we got his result and he was admitted to the college then we were asked to pay his fees which was also paid by us online. Though we had the option to do it offline as well. So the over all process is quite smooth and its not really very difficult you just have to have good communication skills and revise what all you were taught in school.
