The Department of Economics from where I belong is situated in main campus of Jammu University.
My engagement with this university started back in 2017, when i started the BA course under this university.

Dislikes

The hostel mess's are not that great, the technical staff is not that humble to students.
The timing of staff reaching is very late.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum frame work is quite good to look at but its only written down in book, most of those things are not Practically done here. New staff or new innovations are required in the curriculum framework.

Class Size : 68Course Fees : INR 180000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is quite good in this university, unless you go for MBA or such courses it crosses 2L+ but in sciences and social sciences fee structure is totally affordable. Scholarships are there to fill but they take too much long time to complete them.

Campus Life :

Overall experience is quite well, the extra curricular activities are well performed here. Most of the days the programmes of culture, sports and other competitions go on and students perform in that take the prices and the technology performance is not that great in campus.

Admission :

In our time the cutoff was based on BA marks but now there is a CUET exam based on which the admissions get done. Reservation benefits are also there. The difficulty level of the examination is moderate and students study hard for it

Faculty :

The interaction between students and faculty is not that quite often. It really depends on department to department, in our department some of the teachers are interactive and they consider the issues very well and being frank, some teachers do teach extra if you need some help in studies. My interaction with teachers are quite well.

I always get the highest marks in English since I was in school. That's why I chose to pursue my degree in English. I am satisfied with my decision. The exams are not that difficult to pass, anyone who studies properly can easily pass but to get deep knowledge students must study thoroughly.
