Likes

The college is still in its developing phase as it was opened in 2017 only . Heavy expense on the expenditure and a lot of leisure activites are planned for students. The campus is full of greenery.
The average class size is around 70 to 120 and for each subject there are group tasks that decides your grades so they care about healthy social interactions of the students.
100% doctrol faculty so there is no way we are taught by some great mentors over here .Everyone is mindful of their job and there way is teaching is fabulous

Dislikes

The curriculum is still developing with the years passing by but it still affects us in some way . basically it is still not fixed and it keeps on changing for every batch of students
The Placement is not as good as you think but I can assure you it is better than the other colleges and at the end it all depends on your hard work

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is well made and it is really comprehensive . They have skimmed the parts which are not relevant to us. Each course only has 5 modules . This has to commpleted in a span of 4 months . exams are divided in two parts MID-TERM and END-TERM and internals . Curriculum is favourable to the students and you can always pull off a one nighter .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Placement Experience

the whole BTECH is of 4 years and at the end of the 2nd year the placement trainig starts and the college really works hard on the placements and if you do waht they ask you to do then you are guranteed to get a placement averaged around 4 LPA. The highest package in 2023 was 56LPA . Even microsoft and delloite has selected candidates from the college. NOTE: You have to build your resume on your own.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are five fee categories for all BTECH courses offered by the college . 1. 198000 2.300000 3. 375000 4. 425000 5. 500000 these are the tuition fee for 1 year and I have seen any scholar ship provided by the college .

Campus Life

The annual fest is caled ADVITYA . last year Mohit Chauhan came to our college and around 70 Lacs was invested in the college fest . There are other events which are conducted by the students of the particular clubs . You are free to conduct events and everyday there is a new event in the college .

Admission

Your VITEEE rank doesnt matter the course you want to opt for must have vacancy thats all it matters . You can checkout the official college website for the updates related to the admission process. Exams are held once a year its better to check the website regulary from January 1st. The admission process is good ylou can get ultiple options to choose from.

Faculty

We follow CALtech approach in VIT that means we are alllowed to use our laptops and mobile phones inside the class during lectures but obviously under the guidance if the professor . all faculties in VIT are Phd and they are really good in their job. We can approach the faculties anytime during the college hours and during urgency we can contact them via call ,whatsapp and email.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
