Likes

The strictness of the college that ensure you to work hard that is atmost required to pass the semister examination. Otherwise they will fail you even it is an autonomous institute.
Complete study environment with continue teaching. Someday we have to come to college even on Sunday. This shows how dedicated here the teachers are.

Dislikes

Worst campus ever as it ends when you starts exploring.
Fans and light in the classroom are damaged and no one is taking the responsibility to repair it. In summer it is very difficult to stay in classroom and attend there lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview

The ensures to provide a highly excellent education. But as far as the vision and mission is concern it feels nothing like that. They pressurise the students to do the works. As an engineering student, we want some freedom to do what we actually wanted to but they don't even supports.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 190 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes here one can get the internship if they has a proper knowledge of particular field according to the company that are going to be visited in the campus. The companies that are visiting the college are KPIT, Capegemini, Accenture, Wipro, TCS etc for various jobs roles like software testing, web designing, java developers, cyber security etc.

Placement Experience

Before recession the placements were good as the average package were something around 5-6 lakh per annum. But nowadays the scenarios are change it is very difficult to get placed with a package of 3-4 LPA also. For security of future the students must prepare for the GATE exam if you are from the college like JSPM RSCOE where the placements may or may not be guareented.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure are good. They also provide scholarships for Sc,St, etc. castes For open category the fees is something around 113000 And for reserved category it is only rs.190 For OBC it is 63000 For AWS it is 14000

Campus Life

Listen to experience the campus life there should be the campus. In our case there is no campus. You entered you finished as simple as that. So I don't think I enjoyed the campus life too much. There are many clubs. I am part of one of these that is ACM student chapter. The clubs here are good as they continuously working for the events and management is also good.

Admission

The admission process was very fast as far as in my case. I went with my big bro. He still can't believe that my admission is done like speed of light means he done the admission of other bros but in my case it was done very fast. Our college accepts score from MHTCET and JEE Mains exam. As far as my admission process is concerns I never felt any such issues, only is the documents part they needs lots of our documents.

Faculty

All the faculties are well educated and having the proper knowledge but no one can deliver the lectures up to mark based on their qualification. They came and run the ppt only. No practicality in teaching. Just completing the syllabus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
