Likes

Placement opportunities are good and companies also take interest in our students
Extra curricular activities keep happening in our college and it keeps us busy and entertained
Communication skills gets improved and it also conducts mock interviews for our practice

Dislikes

Non AC or ducted classrooms are also an issue in intense summers
They do not provide us enough holidays and working days are too many

The curriculum needs to be changed. The syllabus is the same as it was 10 years ago. There are few new subjects which are introduced but the rest is all the same. 2 midterms are taken in this college and the average marks of these two are sent forward to rtu as internal marks

Internships can be done at the college itself. Some students go to their known places for internships. Noc is provided by the college for internship Students can get help from tnp cell for internship Few places have pacts with colleges so students can go there as well

There is a tnp cell in our college They call companies First, an aptitude test is taken when few students are shortlisted Then there are technical rounds And the final round is an interview Maximum students without running back gets placed

Fees and Financial Aid

There are certain scholarships as well for certain students. The normal fee is 49000 per semester. Students from different states get scholarships. Girls also can get a scholarship Financial issues Students also have a certain scholarship

Campus Life

There are many clubs in college. They have their own coordinators and volunteers. Faculties are also involved in these clubs. Students with interest can participate in any of these clubs Annual fests also take place

Admission

The first reap form is filled and students are selected through that form. Then counseling happens and students are alloted branches. Faculty quota is also available if students want to take admission through that.

Some faculties are good some are just reading ppts . Overall faculties are fine.interaction can be done only with few faculties who actually wants to help. Everyone batch of students are given a batch councellor and they keep up with us all the time

Placement Experience:

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile.
