Likes

Campus Life , I like the environment, canteen as well as fests.
I like the library facilities there , library faculty is supporting as well as comfortable environment for study .
I like the way some faculty pushes you up to think out of the box and achive above out limit .

Dislikes

I don't like the bus facility of skit college, drivers are rude .
Some faculty members are rude and don't even help you they just try to ignore you .
Some lab assistant are not of supporting nature .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I had a keen interest in cyber security and want to enhance my skills in this field . There is a huge team of faculty and specific department of faculty for our convenience.like ratio for teachers and students are like 1:30

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 93600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee per semester is 42000 as tution fee , 5000 development fees and along with that 2000 is the examination fee. I didn't get any kind of scholarship but there are scholarship for army brats , toppers and physical disable and h&k students.i don't get any campus placement yet.

Campus Life

Out college conduct an annual fest week by nane of pravah . It is combination of various cultural and sports events. Library and classroom are comfortable and updated. Sports activities are quite relevant in college .

Admission

I had taken admission through REAP councelling.it is basically based on 10th 12th and jee score card . You can apply for this online .anyone 12th passed can apply for the councelling. There are many benifits of reservations as there are reserved seats for Rajasthan students through REAP councilling and 15% for management quota , other is for j&k state students.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placements at MIT are excellent and begin in the seventh semester. Our college attracts top tier companies and for the 2024 graduating batch. Major recruiters included Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Samsung. My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT.
