Remarks

The admission process was through an online form known for getting admission in engineering colleges of Rajasthan - REAP. On the basis of JEE Mains and 12th%. Then there are various allotments that get issued periodically for various branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

Engineering is a practical course, and engineering colleges provide an all-around development for a student. Faculties here are good, and if you maintain friendly relations with them that is good, sometimes in emergencies if you cannot submit an assignment these things come in handy.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 90400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Byjus, Mahindra, HSBC, Infosys, Metacube, Mobiquik, and many good companies visit here often, and often students apply for summer internships here on their own, because as per seniors there is no internship provided by the college it is upto you.

Placement Experience

In your 7th semester you are eligible to get placed, good companies visit, but there is a hike in the number of IT companies, and very few core companies visit. After your degree, if you want you can continue studying bypassing GATE or other competitive exams, PSU is an option.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is within the budget if you are not opting for a hostel, as in hostel+college fees= 2 -college fees. There are some scholarship programs in which you can register, but there is no awareness created and we do not know how it will be issued.

Campus Life

There are fests conducted here in February, as seniors say, but due to covid, we haven't seen any as of now. Clubs are there but there is absolutely no funding. The library is a good place to study as well as all the books related to the curriculum can be issued, Classrooms are mundane, have a whiteboard and a smartboard, Sports facilities are available.

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
