Course Curriculum Overview

4

The design of subject and courses are being carried out every semester to increase the knowledge and make the students industry ready , like now they have asked students to choose their major field in 2 year , whereas earlier it was in later 3rd year

Internships Opportunities

3

Like currently one of my classmate placed in mac software with a package of 700000 , and a stipend of 24000 for 1 year as a internship , but when we talk about startup companies intership it is quite harsh , like I have meet many people who complains that companies hired them at high package but didn't paid their stipend for 3-4 months and now they are coming back for another placement drives and college can't do anything in this situation

Placement Experience

3

Placement of CSE student starts from 6th semester, to make yourself available for placement you have to opt placement classes which charges is 14000/- (only one time payment) , for being eligible for companies you should not have any backlog , reappears etc , rather companies keeps visiting college regularly and in large numbers, but mostly are startups or sales companies, so we can say out of 800 only 70-80 companies are good for cse students

Fees and Financial Aid

There are variety of scholarship options available for the students, such as exam based which is named as LPUnest , 10th or 12th based , jee based . The scholarship comes with different categories which ranges from 1-3 , which ranges 50 - 30% scholarship depending on course and field as well , it is quite easy to achieve scholarship in any of the category

Campus Life

4

College infrastructure is one of the best in India , with a large number of staff maintaining it all the day , and the campus is around 600-650 acres now , and it is so big that it has been 3 years for me in the college and still I haven't explored complete campus, the college offers , mall , indoor stadium with swimming pools , gyms , banks , everything within the college campus

Admission

When I took addmission , it was totally online based entrance exam named as LPUnest , which comes with 360 marks and different categories to achieve scholarship, it was totally home based exam contains questions from science, maths , general reasoning etc , it was quite easy to achieve cutoff marks

Faculty

4

Majority of the faculty members are well qualified, but in few courses the faculty members are new and unexperienced , and sometimes we also saw that a single teacher is teaching different subjects in different classes , overall majority of faculty are with PHd degree and well knowledgeable and experienced

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
