We can apply for intership ( in Food Technology) in many companies .Some of them are Nestle, Britannia and more other companies. As a Food Technologist, there are many tasks. Such as researching and developing new food products, analysing food samples for nutritional content or safety, conducting sensoring evaluation for food products, participating in food products testing and validation trials etc .

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is very good. The student is eligible for campus placements from seven semester But some companies harrier students from sixth semester also .There are many companies visited related to food like Adani Wilmar , United Breweries Limited , Devyani International Limited etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure (including tuition fees of 75000 and other maintenance fees of 60000 ) is 135000 rupees. Besides all these hostel fees of each year is 61000 rupees ( including message fees) . UP Scholarship are provided which are provided for the once who are eligible. Amount range of scholarship for OBC is 60000-70000 rupees.

The name of the annual and technical festivals are Hunkaar which is related to literature,Technika which is related to technical things and Aagaz which is related to sports. Most of book which are important for us are present in library. Most of the games are present in college. Some of them are badminton, football, basketball, cricket, chess etc .

Hostel Facilities

In hostel room , there are one bed , one almirah, one table, one chair, one fan per person. In every room, there are three students. Menu of the message is very good. The menu is decided according to the season which is good for our health. The registration process is online on HBTU website.

Hostel Fee: INR 61000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for this course is to pass JEE MAINS exam with good rank . For this course JEE MAINS rank is less than 120000. This examination is conduct by National Testing Agency (NTA). The application for is available on NTA website.

Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and all faculty members in HBTU are PhD holders from top colleges of India. Some of them are foreign graduates. They have good teaching skills. They are interactive with students.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
