Course Curriculum Overview

Actually this college gives the dual degree courses in Btech which is a very good thing. This saves our 1 year of masters. And if we talk about the examinations, we have to give two exams first is mid semester examination which is more likely hall yearly exams. Second one is final semester examination

As i am from the 5 year course Students get placement from 4th year Basically the placement is completely dependent on the skills and knowledge of the student. Highest package from our college was 5200000

Fees and Financial Aid

I think fees is a bit high as it is government college. Our course fees is 150000 per year. Then those students who are not from local area have to opt for the hostel. Hostels fees with mess fees gives a total of almost 1lac per year

Campus Life

Gautam Buddha University organises a lot of annual and technical festivals with a huge participation from students. In Gautam Buddha University there is a huge library consisting of a huge amount of books.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel room, we are given a fan , table, chair , almirah, book shelf, tubelight, bulb. And if we talk about mess, The mess is at walking distance from our hostel. We are given meals 4 times in a day.

Hostel Fee: INR 44000 per year

Admission

Firstly there is an entrance test named as GBU-ET Syllabus of that exams includes maths, physics, chemistry and Aptitude questions. After registering for the GBU-ET you will be given an exam centre nearby to your location

Faculty

Every faculty member is highly qualified and educated and also belongs to a good family. They always supports the child in improving and learning and scoring good marks. If any student needs help from the teacher They can directly go to their respected cabins.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

I get a call from NIET , Dronacharya, Galgotia College and University as well. I left them for the state government University which I think is a quite good decision.
