Digboi college is a college with good management, Good faculty, and various opportunities.

The courses present here are of three different types. Higher secondary course, science, arts, commerce. The affiliated board is AHSEC- all Assam higher secondary education council or known as Assam state board. Three years degree course are science, arts, commerce. MSc in a physics course for the master degree.

Every year various company provide some posts to the students like Jio etc. The placement process has recently started. Only the selected students get placement.

List of events that are celebrated in the college are College week, Sports event, Various puja's, Birds watching, Independence day, Republic day etc. The college is active in the fields of events. Due to the rich wildlife college campus events like birds watching and much more related are also celebrated.

The college is, however, a govt. College. Fees are taken annually. Higher secondary 1st-year course: Rs 5000 -6000 yearly. High secondary 2nd year: Rs 5000-6000. For degree course, Admission fees for the odd semester: Rs 6000 -7000. Promotion fees for even semester: Rs 2000-3000.

Till now I had not opted for any loan. If I have to opt for it in the future than probably I will opt for a loan from the bank. And I will also try to get various scholarships.

The campus of the college is large with beautiful nature and rich in flora and fauna. Various extracurricular activities are being organized by the college. The college has various good labs for its respective department. The lab consists of modern basic equipment. Competitions like debates, photography etc are also organized.

Senior students have always been helpful and caring. They treat every junior as their own brothers and sisters and they help them in each and every field.

After my 10th. I had applied to this college. More than 500 students had applied. Minimum percentage for admission in this college was 60%. Mine was 83.6% So I was fulfilling the criteria. I had opted for science. When the cut off list was released, my name was on the 7th rank among all the students. The admission process is very easy here. Students need the documents and mark sheet of class 10 if applying for higher secondary. Or documents and mark sheet of class 12 if applying for (TDC). Students have to submit all their documents in the administrative office.
