The course of the hbtu is inspired from the IIT kharagpur and it is recently updated ,so it is according to the trends and new technologies of the market like the course curriculum have Ai and Ml in the semesters. The areas of improvement in the curriculum is to include more lab work more than the theory portion especially for computer science and information technology students as they have to get practical knowledge more than theoretical. There are 2 mid semesters and one end semester exam in each semester and they all are of medium level which is fully based on the syllabus.

There are not so much opportunities of the internship provided in the college for the students in the computer science department but lot of opportunities of internship come for the core branches like mechanical,civil and chemical. Only few companies are visited for the hiring of intern like Atkins,Turing in the computer science but in core branches companies like maruti suzuki ,adani wilmar,aarti industries and many more visited for intermship.

The placement scenario of the college is very good.Around 90% of the students placed during campus placement. The placement season starts in month of August and finish in May of the next year. For the students who do not get placed they get the chance to appear for interviews even after completion of the final semester exams till the next session starts. Some of the unplaced students opt for higher studies like gate exam or cat .

The tuition fee of Hbtu is less as compared to other colleges,it is 127500 for each year and it remains same throughout the 4 year of the college. There are no financial aids provided by the college to the students but there are some scholarships like up scholarship and Siemens scholarship which students can take and college help in the process of getting these scholarships. The campus employment is very good ,it has the successful rate of 90%.

The campus life in Hbtu is not like the Iits but it is good enough.There are various type of clubs like poetry club,robotic club,finance club where students can join and learn from their seniors and the peers. The fest generally occurs twice in a year once in the month of March-April and once in October-November. The sports facilities provided to the cricket and to football are very good but rest of the sports are not given much importance.

The admission process of the college is very simple you just have to fill the application form which cost around 1300 and then you have to lock your seat for your desired stream which can be changed till the last or 3rd round of counseling. There is also an option of internal sliding to change your branch to the higher branch ,if you have good marks in 10th and 12th. The eligibility is simple you just have to get the domicile certificate in up or 12th marksheet from the school of up . The exam to get admission is jee mains .

The faculty of the Hbtu are very rich in terms of the knowledge.They have very high knowledge of their corresponding subjects,some of them have written their own thesis. The faculty to student ratio is 1:90 here which I think not so bad.The faculties here use the projectors and slides to teach the topic and sometimes they also provide lab assignments for better understanding of the subject. Students can interact freely to the teachers on the working days during the college time,each of the faculty is friendly and helping in nature.
