Remarks

Placements: All the students score incredibly good ranks for their post-graduation exam. Many students try for USMLE and also clear the exam. Many students join the same college to pursue a PG course, and they also have some preference over other students. The students get multiple opportunities depending on their high clinical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

All India Institute of Medical Sciences admits 77 students for MBBS course every year through a competitive entrance examination. The distribution details are as under:- 1. 37 Seats for General Candidates 2. 11 Seats for Scheduled Castes 3. 05 Seats for Scheduled Tribes 4. 19 Seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) 5. 05 Seats for Foreign Nationals 6. For Indian Nationals 3% reservations for orthopedic physically handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats available.

Placement Experience

5

There are no direct placements after MBBS as most people opt for post graduation courses. However, after completing MBBS from AIIMS Delhi, getting a job as a general physician in most of the private medical colleges becomes easy. These jobs have salaries around 60 - 80 thousand per month initially. Many graduates choose to pursue their post-graduation from the USA. A student from AIIMS has a higher chance of being cleared for these courses. The stipend during the internship is 17,900 per month.

College Events

5

A lot of literary, socio-cultural, and sports events are conducted throughout the year. Moreover, various seminars and conferences are organized in which eminent people participate. The fest of AIIMS known as Pulse is the biggest medical fest in entire South Asia. Around 50,000 medical students participate in this annual fest which is conducted in September (16th to 22nd). The campus has good connectivity, with a metro station, bus stop, and an auto stand. The surroundings are often crowded by patients and their attendants. These patients have to stand in queues and wait for a long time for getting an appointment. There is a provision for a summer fellowship in which students can take part in research projects, and they get a stipend for this work. This gives us a lot of exposure to research methods.

Fees and Financial Aid

Along with growing awareness about the importance of education to succeed in the knowledge economy, the cost of quality education is growing fast. Parents too are willing to bear that extra cost to fund their child's higher education. Education loan is the most cost-effective means to fund your education if you are unable to get a full scholarship or do not have a generous aunt or uncle willing to sponsor your education.

Faculty

5

All teachers are qualified, well versed, and knowledgeable. Some of the teachers are authors of famous medical books. We also get top researchers. The teaching quality is quite satisfactory. The usual teaching method is using slides to impart knowledge. In addition, there are case studies, clinical postings, B.Ed-side classes, interaction with patients, and picture-based classes. The student to faculty ratio is around 80: 1 during lectures and 15: 1 during clinical postings. We get a lot of exposure, as AIIMS receives hundreds of patients daily. The course curriculum is very useful, and it has helped us in learning everything necessary to become a general physician.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the curriculum is well organised and implemented as well. After completing one unit of each subject the exams are conducted as class test. We have postings in our 2nd year.We go to wards and observe patients. One thing that should be improved is teaching method. It should not be only slide reading rather it should be interactive one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS COURSE is a professional course and popular course all over the world. In this you have better opportunities after the course you can increase your qualification by MD, MS after MBBS. MBBS is less chance to job less you can do the job in any hospital as a doctor (physician) or any specialist after MD. And also you can start your clinic. Facility students ration is less but it's enough 10-12 members of faculties in one subject but In UCM students also 170 in one batch So the ratio is good Faculties are more qualified and well experienced. Their knowledge is excellent. Their teaching method is really in a good way. They mostly teach through ppt on projectors and mic. Practicals are performed in good way Teachers help every student to perform practicals. 170 students divided into small groups with a teacher provide to every group so you can perform practical in a good way. Term exam held in every 3,4 months and difficulty is not more but also it is not so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
