Likes

The low fees is the one and only advantage of this college

Dislikes

Almost zero placement opportunities, not even 10% of the students gets placed
Very poor infrastructure, typical "government" facilities. No water, no canteen, no proper electricity, almost none of the computers are working
No cultural fests, no college life. They don't care about anything

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is alright. There are a lot of subjects which are too old for the present times. And they don't have the modern day subjects like BlockChain and data analytics, I think the course and curriculum should be revised according to the present times

there are a lot of scholarships opportunities if you are a student with some reservation, for students from general category, you can avail medhavi chhaatra scholarship. total fees for a general student with no reservation si 22k per year

Campus Life

Since the infrastructure is poor, don't expect having fun in the campus. Only one cultural fest happens(that too is just a sports fest, hosted by students from their own money) college doesn't provide much for hosting any events.

Admission

cut off keeps varying, you can get into B.Tech CSE at a rank of 55k in JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) you need to join MP DTE counselling to be eligible for a admission here. There are three rounds of counselling

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio If you don't know there's a huge shortage in the staff of JEC. They hired some contractual guys as professors who don't even know things themselves. And would just narrate topics from GFG

Search for college begins...

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Also I prefer hostel life which I got in this college with minimum fee . Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . Everything about JEC Jabalpur

So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch . Mostly students preferred CSE , IT and AI branch . I also applied in SGSITS indore but because of my low score I didn't make it to go there...Read More
