Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was good but not great every course that should be chosen by us was permitted and any course of their choice was included irrespective of the vote of students. Lab equipment was either not working or there was no faculty maintaining the lab, so in 4 years real-world application of anything was not possible from the college side. The curriculum should be balanced, and revised including a few courses of students' interests. Exams frequency and timing of exams were good and no problem there, if you have studied then obtaining decent marks is not difficult though the college doest not give free marks, they are usually strict in checking but sometimes lenient.

Placement Experience

2

after 6th sem students become eligible for placements but TPO was not capable of bringing decent companies in the year 2024. Companies visited in which EC branch was allowed to sit were Reliance, Ingenx, Coriolisis, Appalto, and 2,3 more, each giving an average package of 3.3 LPA except Reliance whose package was 8.5 LPA but only 2 students were selected in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general students fees were around 25,000 per year, and the Medhavi scholarship is also provided if students have marks above 85%. SC/ST and OBC, also have their respective scholarships. But if you have a scholarship then at the end of 4 years there is a problem in obtaining the provisional degree, The college won't give a provisional degree until they don't receive money from the government for a scholarship. No help from campus for placements as companies brought by them were not giving the required roles and pay was very low, and college doesn't allow you to do onsite internships and is strictly against it so students will miss a lot of opportunities.

Campus Life

3.5

Avahan was the sports fest name which happens once every two year. The library is big and 4 books can be issued per semester for general students. technologies was ok means there were projectors, and smartboards available in 2,3 classes. extracurricular activites are also offered but I was not interested in them so I don't remember. There are a few clubs also example, Jlug club, antriksh club etc

Admission

To take admission you have to clear the Jee Mains cut-off, and based on your rank you through MPDTE counselling you will receive a branch , there is used to be two rounds to upgrade branches but starting in 2020 it is reduced to 1 round only .

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio was much less, though faculties are highly educated and they teach well if they want to but they won't. A very handful of teachers put their efforts into completing the syllabus. Some teachers were very supportive throughout the journey of 4 years and helped me a lot. Every teacher was always available to interact and help if you were in need, and approaching them was very easy. Though the staff that is related to non-academic activites troubles a lot in the sense they don't do things in one go, they ask you to do 10 things before they do the specific task asked (Disadvantage of government college)

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
