Lpu campus is very big and also faculty are friendly

Dislikes

Too much crowd in the campus and we have to change our class in every hour to the other buildings

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college courses curriculum is best they teach us python in our first sem because it is easy to understand them who are new to codding and then they teach us C++ and DSA in third sem so that we can start solving DSA problems very early other than other colleges

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our college companies are comming for the intership program and you can also opt the internship outside the campus but there are some condition accoding to the college for outside campus internships program and also they provide us some program in the summer holidays soo that we can prepare for our internship or the placements

Placement Experience

In our campus those students are eligible who have no reappear in any of the subject and have complete the company requirement as mention in the job role. Here average pakages are 5-6 lakh per annum and highest are 18-20 lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very high at LPU but you can get a scholarship through the LPU nest exam which is conducted by LPU and they also give scholarships with your JEE marks. They have also provided service to students who are studying with government loan

Campus Life

There are several events conducted in our college and also there are extracurricular activities going on in our college. And also they provide NCC and NSS services that students you want to go in the defence in the future.

Hostel Facilities

The rents of the hostels are very high and the rooms are very small . Warden are very bad they never listen the problem of the student. But rooms are fully furnished and also they clean our room in every alternate day

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

First, you to fill out the LPU nest exam form or you opt for the scholarship based on your JEE marks or rank. If you are interested in taking an exam you can take the exam, and after that from where you get more scholarships, they can accept that and even you can give the lpu next exam as many times as you want to.

Faculty

No doubt, all faculties have good qualifications and they also teach us in very simple way and also friendly outside the classes. Some faculty are very bad in nature they never support the student and also never appreciate the the student work

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
