- faculty experience , faculty is well experienced and smart enough to tackle the students the way they should.
- campus, obviously one of the biggest and best campus
- competitive atmosphere, students are more prone to compete with each in order to grow.
Dislikes
- attendance system, 85% is minimum, this should not be for college students.
- exam system, schedules are so tight that you barely do something else than curriculum.
- placement scenario because of recession, if IIT is affected from recession, why not nirma, placements are fallen down to only 50 to 60% and that is also around 4 to 5 lpa
Course Curriculum Overview
curriculum is best I'd say. DS, OS, CN, all the subjects are must for interviews, and then we don't have to worry about all at a time, coz we have already spent six months on that, then in 2nd and 3rd sem, we get hands on with practical subjects.
Internships Opportunities
multiple MNC companies come with internship opportunities in nirma University. like Microsoft, google, meta, snapdragon, and many more. they don't come to nirma, but students are notified when these companies are hiring, so that if students are eligible, they can apply for the same.
Placement Experience
placements are good in nirma, but students have to understand that they should also try to have more knowledge about industry and practicality. i am student placement coordinator, i know there's still a gap between what company want and what students are offering.
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fees are around 82000 per sem and 3500 for exam fees. nirma provide scholarship for btech students, if you score good in overall class, and some major benefits can be taken by goverment scholarships too.
Campus Life
campus life at nirma is best, you can't find better place in Ahmedabad at night than Nirma University. if you are living in hostel, you are in heaven at night. and may be on somedays you have to compromise your food for that. mess of nirma is trying their best but after all, mess is mess.you can't have best quality after some stage in mess food
Admission
we did cmat exam for admission of mca. you can find all the details related to this on nirma's official website. reservations are available for obc and sc st students exams are taken once in year and difficulty is between easy to moderate. nothing to improve I'd say, coz every step they are taking for this is necessary in some of the aspect. even nirma University 's online portal for submitting documents is also amazing.
Faculty
faculties are best I'd say, but more prone to industry related education and behavior. students should be trained accordingly to the industry but, they should try how to approach the students for the same.
