Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here in Vellore Institute of Technology is well designed in such a way that it first focus on the basics of the course.On going further it also explains the course applications in the real world as well.
Internships Opportunities
Students here will recieve the mail about internships from the college almost everyday. They make students to go to internship at the their 7th semester. Management encourage us to do more projects and offer cash prizes to encourage for the excellent projects.
Placement Experience
I think students in Vit get placement offers from their 6th semester onwards.Highest package offered to a student here is 1.02 crore per annum and average salary package is 819000 rupees. Tech giants like google , microsoft ,etc offers placements here. About more than 70% of students get placed. I planed to go to work for gaining some experiences.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure in Vit differs to one another by the ranks obtained from the students in their VITEEE entrance exam. Vit offer scholorships to its students. Stipends for the branch toppers,etc.It also provide free education for the Tamil Nadu govt school toppers. Fee here is bit high but it is worth to pay.
Campus Life
Vit conducts Riviera an famous art fest and Gravitas a giant tech fest in yearly manner. Vit has a large library and it is accessible to the students even at night time. Every classroom has equiped with a smart board. There are large sports facilities for students and faculties as well.Extracurricular activities likes clubs and chapters are rigorously active in Vit Each and every day.
Hostel Facilities
There are many types of room like 1bed,2 bed ,and so on and with ac ,without ac, bunk bed , single cot, etc. Mess menu also available in different types like veg,non veg,special. Food quality is good. Hostel application can be done in either way through online or offline.
Admission
Eligibity for applying for Btech in VIT is to take 60% in their 10 th and 12 th grade. The application form can be found in online in the Vit.ac.in website. You can choose your entrance exam venue and the timings.It is not that much difficult but some effort is needed to get good ranks.
Faculty
Every faculty in vit is well experienced and trained people with a Ph.D and are titled as Doctors.Everyone have a good sight in their respective subjects. They even help students to build resume developing skills.
