Course Curriculum Overview

3

I'm very interested in choosing computer science because I belong to village. There is no single computer is available but I am curios about computers and software so I take computer science. Course curriculum is very old but now our college get Autonomous status approved. So they changed some curriculum for new session 2024 admission. But faculties are very supportive of teaching all these curricula to score well in semester exam's. I think admission intake 180 is more in cse branch. Generally semester exams are done In 3 stages first is a sessional test, second stage is PUT exams and main stage is the University exam. Which is not Hard or Easy. Difficulty level of exam's is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The intership opportunities is for 2nd year students because in college curriculum 4th semester internship is required for Mark's so college provides internship in collaboration with Salesforce and Eduskill Aicte foundation for virtual or remote internship without any stipends. During intership cloud services, and database arrangement projects are given to understand and submit as Final tasks

Placement Experience

3

College placements is decreased in these last two years after crona period. Very minimum number of companies visit in campus. In 2023 placements 15 companies visit campus and 60 offers provide. The highest placement offers is given by Triveni Turbines 7LPA and average package 2.5 lakhs is given by ACC cements. The students placements ratio is decreased and current placement percentage is 60 percent. Most students if not place then they opt for higher education and competitive exams like GATE. After I'm getting the degree then I'm prepare for GATE examination to take admission in Good colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college semester wise tuition fees is 59656 for open category students which takes admission through CET. This is after availing scholarship benefits if you not takes any scholarships then your first year fee's is 120000 and complete fees for 4th year is 3.5lakh without including hotels and canteen charges after including hostel and canteen charges total fee's is 4.50 lakh. If your category is SC, or EWS then your fee's is zero if you opted for Maharashtra DBT scholarships. You have only need to pay for semester examination fee's in which hostel and canteen facilities not included. Government scholarship is available for students who give CET exam and Take admission through CAP. Students can take scholarship through maha dbt scholarship schemes are Punjab Rao Deshmukh, Rajashri chatrapati maharaj technical education scholarship and more.Campus employment status is not good very less opportunities and mostly job roles like consultant and analyst. Last year few students get stipends

Campus Life

3.5

In the college the annual festival is held like Navonmesh and Picsel events every years. in campus Library is the best part because there are lots of book's are available. There is well equipped in Computer science branch with digital Screen and latest computers. Sports facilities is limited like chess, table tennis and volleyball. Students have freedom to run social groups, clubs or students portal.

Admission

Eligibility Criteria for courses are not very High generally 45 percentage or above in high school. After you have performed well in entrance like JEE main and MHT Cet. If You have more than 76 percentile in cet then you easily get top cutoff branch like computer science. The admission is done through counselling based on cet score after counselling the form and application fee's is nearly 5000. Exam's are very quickly taken by rtmnu University mostly semester exam is taken after 4 months and exams difficulty is moderate not Hard or Easy. I think college needs improvement in counselling process.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio in my department is 80:1. 80 students to 1 teachers for other departments the faculty ratio is vary in other core branch like civil, Mechanical in which faculty to student ratio is 60:1. The faculties are mostly M.tech and PhD degree holders and some labs assistant teacher are Bsc degree . The faculties teachings approach are good they are very supportive with students. Our placement cell faculty is also provided mentorship skills. Simply students can interact while lectures and after lectures also students have any doubts they directly ask Questions in Google Classroom group.

Other Applied Colleges

Priyadarshini College of Engineering - [PCE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because computer science and engineering is CET Cutoff is 76 percentile and my percentile is 72

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.

The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess.
