What Students Say
Likes
- There is a wide variety of cultural societies that benefitted me personally to grow as a human being. I made few friends , the campus is great, I met people from different states and different walks of life.
- Talking of law, number of moot court sessions take place in umang bhawan from time to time.
- As I am pursuing law, I am discovering lots of new sections which are being taught by professional teachers . There is a mandatory 75% attendance requirement which I liked the most.
Dislikes
- No proper arrangement of clean drinking water in the campus, students usually have to buy water from college canteens which is unbearable cost on a student ,since water is an undeniable need .
- The classes even libraries don't have aur conditioning system which makes studying a bit difficult in the churning summer.
- Incapacitated CCTV cameras making it difficult to make the college theft-proof
Course Curriculum Overview
I know more than a dozen scholars who completed their law degree from Delhi University and I must say I was influenced by their career pursuance. I have a brother who himself has completed law from Delhi University in 2019 which makes a more of an impact on me to pursue law from here. The curriculum has made it possible for the students to face real life situations related to law in second year only . However there are some areas that needs improvements like the teachers need to be in time and they should not cancel their classes at the last moment because some of the students come from a very far away and long distances just to get their classes cancelled Therefore it must be looked into. Overall , the difficulty in examinations was moderate to difficult , teachers refuse to give marks more than 70% .
Internships Opportunities
Several students start their internship from first year only, however it is advisable to go for internships only after you have learned to draft a case properly , then only you will get benefits of internship, some of the advocates provide mere travel expenses to their interns
Placement Experience
A student becomes eligible for college placement in their final year only as there isuch to be learned. Legal aid society is one the best society that comes for placement. Almost 30-40% students get placement every year. I plan to go for judiciary after completing my law from Delhi University.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee has been increasing in my college every year and the student union cants do a thing , this is a serious pain in the pockets of middle class people. The yearly fees was 6000 rupees which has increased to 7000 and there are many other expenses such as bare acts and case materials. Several scholarships are awarded to students once or twice a year which may cover more than half of our yearly fees. Moot courts take place every now and then any student can be a part of it.
Campus Life
Freshers, farewells are part of every students life here, cultural societies ,dance, sports, fests keep happening here in the campus, since it's a law campus we are talking about , many honourable advocates, attorneys and Advocates on Recordkeep visiting our college for students guidance. Most of the social groups being run here is by the students union society .

Eligibility was that the students must have competed graduation and attained over 50% in it. Application form and all other details is available on the website du.ac.in Reservation benefits do take part here in the entrance exams, a student from general category can apply under ews category to secure a seat under du llb. The admission process needs improvements in field of taking and accepting documents from students which must be made Swift.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quiet good, talking of learning experiences, I personally agree that our dean ma'am Anju wali tikoo, is a gem of a person, she loves talking to students and providing , resolving any issues of students. Also a students can interact to the teachers whenever they want.
