Likes

There is no reservation policy. So only talented students get admission
One of the best infrastructure in the whole country
The professors are also very highly qualified and educated.

Dislikes

It is very difficult to survive in the scorching heat in the summer season
The food outlets are not good here. The food quality is not good
Power cuts occur frequently in the hostel rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying Electrical and electronics engineering here and I chose this branch as it has a lot of scope in future. It is a booming field nowadays which would offer a lot of jobs in future. The curriculum is very much aligned with the industry

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee here increases by 5% every year. Merit scholarship is available in BITS Pilani. Merit cum Need scholarship is also available for students whose total family income is less than 12 lakh.

Campus Life

The campus life is really good. We have clubs for in every aspect. Top notch facilities are available in classrooms. All kinds of sports facilities are available.state and national champions are here to compete with us. The competition is tough here

Admission

There are no reservation benefits available in BITS Pilani. To be eligible for a course one has to crack BITSAT examination. The exam is held twice a year. The councelling period is very time consuming so it will be better if it is shortened

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is really good ...the professors are highly qualified...most of them have graduated from foreign universities and even IITs. I frequently ask doubts from my professors and they are always eager to help.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

BITS Pilani- A relevant review of Pharmacy

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
