I really appreciate the zero attendance policy .it's really worth studying in bits. the zero percent attendance policy helps in promoting startup culture and makes the college students more diversified in their respective fields
I really like the senior junior special interaction at bits .
infrastructure is worth the money that bitsian are giving

Dislikes

the high fees that we pay at bits can be a burden to our parents
high competition among bitsians because of no reservation
the fact that we have to stay away from our home .bits is the best

Course Curriculum Overview

i really love the logic that we use in math courses.it requires curiosity and eagerness to learn . curriculum is well designed and is in accordance with foreign and future studies as well . by getting more inspired from foreign educational institutes .exams are held way to frequently and can sometimes cause burden

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

tuition is fees is around 2 lakh and fifty thousand per sem. and tuition fees increases by 5 percent every year complete cost of our education would be 35 lakh tentatively.mcn and merit scholarship is available. none stipend awarded

Campus Life

annual fest is PEARL .tech fest is ATMOS .and they are held in months of November and March respectively . books available are of diversified genre. technology is top notch including smart boards . sports facilities could have been way improved I am a part of dramatics club and it has changed my life . clubs are integral part of students life as it increases connects and friendships

Admission

admission process was really hassle free. we were required to enter the campus via bitsat mode of examination.application form can be found on bitsat website . difficulty level is easy and timings are twice in gap of two months . admission website could have been made way more smoother and efficient

Faculty

the faculty to students ratio is not that small . we have ample amount of proffs and teaching assistant to help us in our needs.faculties are well qualified and Excel in their respective domains . we can contact by visiting their chamber

A great college for the fees.

Placement Experience:

For Master's students, they can start appearing for placement as soon as starting their 2nd Semester. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab a good placement. The average package for Master's can be 6-8LPA while the highest placement last year was 54LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The course curriculum was specifically based on giving more knowledge and insights about the course I chose. I went onto specialization and chose microbiology and learnt that it has various other fields because of the curriculum. - The course and lab prepares well for the real-world applications. - There should have been more hands-on experience with some lab equipments and some teachers should have given more guidance to the students. - Frequency of exams and difficulty level was good. No complaints about that.

The campus placement commity is good, there is a dedicated department for campus placement for students depending upon the course you chose if you take Btech, Mtech or MCA its good but if you take M.Sc you have to struggle for placement and even if you get placement you hace to struggle with the package.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
