What Students Say
Likes
- Comparing our college to the other autonomous colleges around... I think we get acceptable amount of freedom. The infrastructure of this college is marvelous. Most of the teachers are friendly and fun to hang out with. Overall its a decent place.
- There are lot of opportunities you get around here for interactions and exposure. We have a nation wide tech fest named sristi. Ive seen students around india come here. And we have pratitya and nakshatra. This year we had first position for yip 6.0
- The ambience in our college is outstanding. It is an eco friendly campus and completely different from all the other colleges. On the first note the college is situated on a hill area. Transportation is limited but available and weather is also calm.
Dislikes
- The whole college is a little congested. We may feel like everything is so close and limited, but infact it is well structured and organised. Even the workshop area and labs may feel a little tiny.
- We have a lot of buses in between 7am - 6pm but availability of autos are very less and buses to particular routes are very less.
- We have a college gym inside the college campus. We have enough equipments for regular exercise and full body workouts, but yet again the place is a little congested.
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall syllabus may not be effective for building a carrier, but the college provides us number of workshops and bring us enough internships and online courses which help us understand what is going on in our carrier rn. We are also updated about upcoming trends in the industry. We have 3 exams per sem excluding lab exams. The third one is the final sem exam. The difficulty varies every year and is not predictable
Internships Opportunities
I have only completed two semsters, and have already done 5 workshops and a 5 day internship. The college updates us with internship opportunities available, good courses and workshops. The college itself provides us with number of workshops and classes
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees per year is 72000. The fees is split into two and is paid per sem. Even semester fees are considerably less than the odd sem. There are a few additional charges during the odd semester. We do have fees variations for students who aquired top 5000 in keam exam and fulfill the required income limitations.
Campus Life
The main focus of the college is on academics. But other than that we have almost one whole week of tech fest, iv every year which goes from 1 day to 2 day to 5 day and 7 day. We have number of clubs, art fest, sports day, department day etc. We have a two storey library which include number of guides and texts and is facilitated with a study area that is provided with wifi. The college wifi is accessible within one month of joining.
Hostel Facilities
We have two hostels for girls and 4 for boys. Girls hostel is within the campus and the boys hostel is a walkable distance from the college. During lunch breaks a bus is provided for boys from college to hostel. The menu changes every 3 months. One of the girls hostel has much more features than the other. The curfew is 6. We have enough freedom in our hostel. We are provided with water coolers, washing machines and incinerators in every floor. We have single rooms without attached bathrooms, single beds with attached bathrooms, 2 bed and 3 bed sharings.
Admission
If i am right the last rank for cse was 17000-18000. The admission process was quite simple and effective. We had an interview process. All the fee structure and hostel facilities are properly communicated.
Faculty
Most of the teachers are young but we'll educated. We have a soo many senior teachers too. They are well aware and well educated about the subject. We have three advisors per class of 72 students. They provide us with an open environment and we can approach them whenever we want
Interview Experience
The admission process was quite simple. We are required to attend a class and talk to the principal. We could meet one of the faculties in each department and the placement cell was accessible. We also had a one week long induction program
